Job Description:
The Institutional Equity Investigator reports to the office of Institutional Equity Executive Director and Title IX Coordinator who is charged with upholding the values of equity and is the University official responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring WKU's programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws; ensuring equal opportunity and access; preventing and addressing discrimination across campus; and overseeing all aspects of compliance including, but not limited to, Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, in addition to related state laws and institutional governing policies.
The primary responsibility of the Institutional Equity Investigator is to, under the direction of the office of Institutional Equity Executive Director and Title IX Coordinator, conduct timely, impartial, thorough and reliable investigations pertaining to allegations of discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation in accordance with WKU policies and procedures and various federal and state laws including but not limited to Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. The Institutional Equity Investigator is also engaged in education and prevention efforts to support the values and mission of the office of Institutional Equity.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct prompt, impartial, thorough, and reliable investigations pertaining to allegations of discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation in accordance with University policies and federal and state law;
• Interview complainants, respondents, and relevant witnesses to gather information and evidence; serve as a neutral party through all aspects of the investigative process; and ensure equitable treatment of all parties;
• Implement interim/supportive measures, in addition to other interventions, for involved parties if/when necessary;
• Ensure the investigative process is well-documented by maintaining accurate, consistent, and thorough records and notes of the investigative process;
• Draft comprehensive and concise investigative documentation including, but not limited to, complaints, notices of investigation allegations, correspondences, interview notes, and investigative reports;
• Communicate pertinent investigation activity and information to all relevant parties and/or affiliated stakeholders;
• Participate in Title IX hearings and/or other administrative hearings related to investigations;
• Attend trainings to maintain knowledge of civil rights and anti-discrimination/anti-harassment laws and regulations, maintain knowledge, and attend trainings related to investigative processes and best practices;
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality;
• Actively foster and maintain a climate supportive and respectful of differences in regard to all WKU community members;
• Assist the office of Institutional Equity Executive Director and Title IX Coordinator with University-wide training and outreach programming related to anti-discrimination/anti-harassment laws, policies, and procedures including Title IX;
• Assist the office of Institutional Equity Executive Director and Title IX Coordinator in development of University protocols, procedures, and policies; and
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• At least two years of investigation experience, which may include, but is not limited to, workplace investigations, human resources investigations, discrimination investigations, law enforcement investigations, and/or legal investigations;
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local equal opportunity and nondiscrimination laws and regulations including, but not limited to, Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, FERPA, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Clery Act, and other applicable laws and regulations that prohibit discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation;

The University of Connecticut, College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources (CAHNR) Dean's Office seeks applicants for a full-time position as an Administrative Program Support 1. Under the direction of the Dean’s Assistant, the Administrative Program Support 1 position is responsible for providing administrative support to the CAHNR Dean's Office.
CAHNR works to ensure a sustainable global future through research, teaching, and public engagement utilizing agricultural, health, and environmental sciences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide general administrative support to faculty, staff, and students.
- Coordinate calendars for seminar and meeting rooms; assist with arrangements for events, including catering, room reservations, and pre-approvals.
- Coordinate and provide administrative support to College committees such as CAHNR Excellence Committee, CAHNR PTR Committee, and Staff Administrative Council.
- Serve as the facilities liaison for Ratcliffe Hicks Arena and surrounding grounds. Work closely with outside contractors and UConn Facilities to address building and occupant concerns, attend meetings with facilities as a representative of the Department, process and follow up on work orders, and schedule preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and update the College website, may develop layouts for smaller webpages.
- Monitor inventory and service maintenance contracts for college equipment, track controllable property, and process inventory documentation for proper disposal of surplus.
- Serve as the primary college resource providing ongoing guidance and assistance to faculty, staff, and students in all matters pertaining to University-required travel; coordinate travel arrangements for Dean and Dean’s Office visitors and process reimbursements for Dean and Dean’s Office visitor travel.
- Coordinate all aspects of purchasing including procard, reallocation and reconciliation, vendor setup, requisitions/purchase orders, invoices, and related items, for all Dean’s Office operations.
- Schedule and maintain the following: the College conference rooms, the College vehicles, and Ratcliffe Hicks Arena.
- Assist with W.B. Young facility maintenance issues and prepare work order requests including maintenance of bulletin boards and display cases.
- Process and maintain necessary paperwork, records, and files required to support foundation and alumni engagement offices within CAHNR such as weekly gift reports and the Papersave system.
- Serve as backup for Dean’s Assistant to ensure continued service of office operations.
- Assist with other programs, processes, or activities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate’s degree in a related field and 2-3 years of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting while regularly exercising sound judgment regarding administrative detail and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Office of Research and Creative Activity (ORCA) is seeking applications for a full-time Assistant Director. This position is eligible for a flexible (remote) work arrangement.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
