• Develop. Accounting and control functions relating to Scholastic sales reps and commission. Monitor the work performance of assigned personnel on a continual basis; conduct effective performance reviews; take corrective action whenever necessary and, where necessary, work with HR Generalists to establish performance improvement plans. Identify and resolve skill gaps and succession issues. A polish operator removes surface blemishes from inside and outside of the ring using various sanding and buffing wheels. Uses hand tools to polish and clean up around detail. Responsible to learn and maintain skills in several functions required for putting a shiny finish on the ring/jewelry products. The person must be able to perform the needed skills by following SOPs (standard operating procedures) to area quality standards while meeting hourly production goals.

• Must be able to read and understand all information on shop paper
• May require flexible hours to include overtime
• Must be able to wear and use necessary protective clothing and/or equipment
• Must maintain equipment and area in a clean safe condition
• Must be able to work in a team environment
