Kantar’s Brand Consulting practice provides solutions to strategic marketing challenges, rooting our approach in consumer research, customer understanding and financial analysis. Our whole-brain thinking brings a unique, intrinsically multi-lens and practical approach to our work in all our solutions: Strategy, Brand, Organizational Performance and Brand Valuation.
In this position, you will work across the Kantar ecosystem to collaboratively strengthen and grow long-lasting client relationships that drive overall revenue goals for the region. At any given time, you will be working on multiple projects across a range of clients and across our offering. Your network will include key decision makers such as Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Growth Officers, Heads of Marketing, Heads of Strategy, Heads of Insights.
You will be accountable for the Brand Consulting revenue goals and have a personal revenue target. Together with your leadership team you will manage your sales pipeline, forecast revenues, and provide regular activity reports to management.
You will partner with industry, client, and solution leads across Kantar to bring visibility around our consulting capabilities and contribute to Kantar thought leadership. You will be a member of the global consulting board and together with your peers from other parts of the world coordinate offer / IP development, capability building and through leadership.
We need a strategic, high-level performer in this role. A thinker and doer who can lead a highly motivated team of consultants and enjoys being both an entrepreneur and intrapreneur.
The profile we are looking for
A upper mid-level management consultant (10+ years consulting experience) that grew up in the space and is classically trained in the generic and transferable skills of management consulting and change management (from gap analysis to road mapping)
Experience in leading management consulting / change management type of engagements regardless of subject area (growth strategy, brand audit, operating model development, marketing capability program)
The ability and mindset to lead and/or collaborate with diverse teams of SME’s across the Kantar eco-system (Insights, Brand Strategy, Creative Performance, Qualitative research, Worldpanel) to scope, win and deliver the highest quality and impactful work
Open to learn about the wider Kantar offer and being able to have meaningful client conversations around the Kantar perspectives on brand supported by our IP

Role Purpose:

To continue to build the account for Kantar Worldpanel through delivering strong business insights with the consumer panel data.

1. Participating in the projects negotiation and understand clients request.
• Collect and analyze client's request information, organize relevant people in the company and the department to collectively analyze and discuss project needs and provide quotations.
• Collect and prepare relevant data and materials for the project negotiation, organize the communication and negotiation and provide information support and professional advice during the negotiation process.

2. Managing the operation and execution of the project
• Keep contact with data production department, utilize relevant software and analytical skills to collect, classify and prepare key data group and ensure data accuracy and reliable.
• Organize and compile data analysis report based on the contract and detail requirement, make sure the report materials are reliable and process if precise.

3. Maintain client relationship and provide customer service
• Maintain daily contact with the clients, handle customer consultation and complaint, build and keep good relationship with the clients.
• Organize client meetings, collect and prepare meeting materials, compile meeting related report.
• Identify client's potential needs, maintain and expand the sales on the existing clients, discover potential client value.
• Participate in setting new client development plan and the detail implementation, turn newly potential client into current client.

4. Revenue forecast and client revenue management
• Analyze and summarize historical revenue data, make reasonable revenue forecast, provide information support and professional advice for the departmental business plan.
• Manage client revenue sheet, maintain contact with finance department and ensure timely payment of projects.

5. Understand business dynamic and solve technical problem
• Use intranet, internet or commercial magazines to find out Kantar and consumer panel activities related to the team as well as to the clients.
• Collect and analyze competitors and market information; be well aware of the advantages and disadvantages of competitors; offer information support and suggestions in order to maintain and elevate the competitiveness of the company.
• Participate in solving professional and technical difficulties, provide professional support to the provincial and regional projects.

6. Participate in process improvement and technique innovation
• Improve the operating skills of the applicable software, ensure data accuracy and improve the efficiency of data classification.
• Improve the production process and method of regular client report and diagram, improve the report production efficiency.
• Share with team members the approaches of process and technical improvement, push forward the improvement implementation.

7. Organize, build and maintain the team
• Based on business expansion, set and organize to implement the recruitment plan of the team members.
• - Set working objectives for the whole team, guide tem members to set personal working objectives and development plan, monitor the objective carry-out and evaluate the objective implementation.
• Organize training for the team members, provide guidance and advices to the daily work of subordinates, improve staff's overall ability and competency.
• Education: University bachelor degree; majored in marketing, statistics, psychology, or other relevant subjects.
• 2-3years or more experience in market research and minimum 2 years of management experience
• Have a good knowledge of relevant expertise, as well as of customer fixed panel product and system knowledge; proficient in the use of MS Office and customer fixed panel analysis software

The NAM-Direct/Indirect Procurement Manager will support Kantar's Procurement activity primarily across the NAM region, reporting to the NAM Regional Head of Procurement. You will be part of a team managing all commercial and contractual aspects of NAM regional procurement related activity, in alignment with the Global Procurement function (i.e. Tower leads, Category Management and other Regional teams). This Consumer Insights Director role will be supporting one of our Europanel teams on the day-to-day management of the Unilever Global Oral Care category and support Europe BPC regional teams to achieve their goals through strategic insights – in a dynamic and matrixed environment where you’ll collaborate with colleagues in many different countries on a high-profile account. You will have ownership on building strong relationships with a set of client stakeholders; delivery of key projects & analysis on Unilever’s big portfolio of brands, and contribute to commercial success by proactively identifying opportunities, forming new relationships and building an international career by working with one of our biggest clients and be supported by some of best research companies worldwide.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years of client management experience working with data/insights, pro-active and commercially driven, curious about insights and passionate about delivering them with impact. You will be hands on with data, identifying trends, finding the story & its big picture to present it to the client with high impact and partner with other agencies in and outside the Kantar family.

• Working ‘hands-on’ with our panel data, helping to identify and deliver impactful insights that deliver growth for Unilever.
• Deliver strategic data insights and recommendations that are clearly articulated, visual and actionable that will help shape Unilever’s commercial strategy.
• Handle data requests and project briefs ensuring timely, accurate delivery of information and offering good level of insight for clients but also generate internal impact.
• Secure the production & interpretation of analysis with a focus on finding patterns in the data highlighting key priorities and making recommendations.
• Discuss briefs with clients, challenging where appropriate to make sure requests have been properly thought through and offering advice on how best to tackle issues.
• Build a strong partnership with your key client contacts.
• Develop opportunities to grow revenue for the team, with a focus on widening our network, identifying client issues, and increasing the contribution of Europanel services.
• Create & maintain an account plan with support from your manager & colleagues.
• Develop a partnership approach to collaborate and deliver projects on a variety of sources through collaboration with colleagues in Europanel, country contacts across GfK & Kantar Worldpanel, and other agencies (e.g., Nielsen).

Key Capabilities

Your background will ideally look like this…
• 4-5 years of previous professional experience in Client Management (preferably in the FMCG industry) with a proven record on excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior decision makers.
• Business proficiency in English (B2 Level Minimum required).
• Significant experience working with Market Trends and/or Consumer Behaviour and/or Panel insights.
• Experience on working with large Data Sets (preferable experience with consumer panels both on Usage and Purchase), by showcasing effectiveness in analysing, interpreting and articulating data with business implications.
• Proven business experience with Excel (e.g., Advanced Formulas; Pivot Tables) and Power Point.
• Possesses strong verbal and visual presentation skills with the ability to articulate in a confident and composed manner insightful and impactful presentations.
• Availability to travel.

• Previous significant working experience in the FMCG industry.
• Solid knowledge of fundamental statistical concepts and analysis.
• Experience working with shoppers’ data and panel insights.
• Comfortable knowledge of MS Power BI (on data visualization and dashboard customization).
• Previous experience working within a multicultural business environment and developing solid working relationships with clients and colleagues from many different countries and cultures.
