Job Responsibilities:
• Own the communication and outreach for all instructors.
• Work with School and Product Managers on the standardization of live online delivery.
• Groom instructional staff to effectively refine our current live online and on-demand course offerings.
• Identify opportunities and lead efforts to increase productivity and improve the performance of the collective instructional staff.
• Coordinate and work to communicate staff and student feedback to content creation and subject matter experts.
• Communicate with and support students in their education efforts.
• Identify and assist in supporting important relationships with organizations and leaders that regularly recruit people into the industry that need licensing or continuing education.
• Collaborate with instructors for the collection of content feedback.

The Engineering SME plays a key role in providing high-quality, exam-relevant content that teaches customers to pass their exams. He or she serves as the definitive source of engineering knowledge and expertise during the content development process.
The Engineering SME creates, revises, and provides strategic direction on content in his or her area of expertise . The resulting content is technically accurate and in alignment with the product goals and learning objectives that drive the creation and ongoing development of PPI exam prep materials.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Partner with the Content team to produce the highest quality engineering exam preparation products on the market.
• Write original content such as book chapters, course lecture slides, and other materials, as assigned. Follow submission instructions for deliverables, including content requirements, file format, markup, and file uploading procedures.
• Write new and revise existing Q&A's (both quantitative and non-quantitative) in various formats (multiple choice, alternative item types) and case studies, as assigned by Content Specialists. Follow submission instructions for deliverables, including content requirements, file format, markup, and file uploading procedures.
• Develop and write complete course content, ensuring that content map is comprehensive, with all necessary handbook references incorporated. Ensure that learning objectives, examples, and practice are clear and aligned with exam specifications and course outcome goals.
• Respond in a clear and timely manner (by deadlines specified) to queries from PPI staff (Content, Editorial, Production, etc.). Queries may require checking editorial work to ensure accuracy or re-working content, where necessary.
• Perform, when requested, final reviews of content prior to publication. Clearly mark up typeset proofs with corrections to any found errors, by the deadline specified.
• Every 2 days, review, assess, and, where necessary, correct content that has been flagged as in error (either in parts or sum). Research root causes of errors, monitor error trends across Q&A's, and identify and communicate key improvements to the content development process that could reduce error frequency and quantity.
• Assess and advise on content quality, difficulty level, and exam suitability.
• Assign appropriate categorization information (knowledge area, subtopic, and other meta data) to content, when requested.
