Work you'll do

Correspondence in Japanese (written and verbal) with individual taxpayers to collect data required to complete their US individual income tax return
Correspondence in Japanese (written and verbal) with individual taxpayers to field questions regarding access to and completion of the US tax organizer
Correspondence in Japanese (written and verbal) with individual taxpayers to outline tax return delivery process, including consultation on accessing Deloitte's secure portal
Translation of documents provided from Japanese to English for use in the US tax compliance process
Translation of the updated About Me tax "organizer" from English to Japanese for broad roll-out to the JSG client users
Correspondence with US and US India team members in English (written and verbal) to coordinate the missing tax data collection process and tax return delivery process

The Team

Qualifications

Required

Fluent in both English and Japanese (i.e. fully bilingual)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. How you will make a difference:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Creates and maintains databases to track business performance.

• Writing T-SQL queries and utilizing visualization/reporting tools, such as Tableau and SSRS.

PCG's Education Consulting service line seeks a Contract Permissions Editor to ensure that PCG secures the necessary rights for third-party work that is included in the content that we deliver to our clients. This role uses it expertise in negotiations and licensing of permissions for compliance for each project. About PCG's Education Consulting Service Line

PCG's Education Consulting Service Line works with states, districts, and schools to address a wide spectrum of needs such as curriculum development, instructional resources audits, design and facilitation of professional development and professional learning communities, school improvement, and program reviews.

Project engagements have included the development of the EngageNY grades 6-12 English Language Arts curriculum for the New York State Education Department and the delivery of related implementation services across several states; the design and delivery of a system of a K-3 professional learning program for the Connecticut State Department of Education; and the creation of training and resources to support standards implementation for the Florida Department of Education. We recently collaborated with Chicago Public Schools (IL) to develop a full-year, standards-aligned digital curriculum for PK-12 English Language Arts and mathematics and are providing asynchronous and synchronous professional learning to teachers and administrators to support implementation. Currently, we are also developing a K-5 ELA curriculum in partnership with Pinellas County Schools (FL) to support their transition to the new Florida B.E.S.T standards.

The Role

The Permissions Editor:
• Responsible for securing permissions for content used within PCG deliverables.
• Leverages expertise in the negotiation and licensing of permissions for the use of 3 rd party print and electronic assets in curriculum, professional learning content, and other client-facing materials, as needed.
• Facilitates data-sharing and/or data transfer to clients as relates to permissions.
• Uses inhouse Asset Tracking tool to manage permissions for a given project.
• Fulfills other project-related duties as assigned.
