You will own a department, and focus on maximizing its sales, inventory and standards. Department Managers have the power to impact the business daily, by managing inventory, moving product in accordance with customer demand and by being commercial (meaning that you’ll know what is trending and thus order your merchandise daily to drive sales).
You will keep an eye on the local market to maintain a competitive advantage in price, product, and shopping experience. As the leader of your department, you will hire, train, coach and motivate a team of Retail Assistants and Supervisors. This is crucial to ensuring your department delivers an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.
We’re looking for a fashion-loving person with at least 2 years of retail management and fashion related experience with strong commercial acumen. You’ll need to be nimble and adaptable since we move so quickly. And your leadership role will demand strong communication skills and an ability to relate to customers’ needs. Our Department Managers typically join us from Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Department Manager experiences. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

About the Job
The Office Administrator must have bookkeeping experience and oversee a company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
Additionally, they will work closely with our team at Kings Capital to determine their support needs and to ensure that employees have the necessary tools and training to perform the essential functions of their jobs.
Essential Functions
Quick-Books and bookkeeping (data entry) experience
Day-to-day operational assistance

Real estate office experience a plus

Coordinate advertising activities and process real estate transactions
Interact with firm-wide supervisors, managers, and their staff in various departments, to ensure efficiencies in the office's day-to-day operations.
Organize office events, scheduling, and appointments
Stocking supplies and inventory
Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
To maintain contact lists and other documents up to date.
Provide daily support for the company and its agents, both admin-related and marketing related.
Skills and abilities
Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience: Two years of experience, previous supervisory experience in a professional setting.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and Outlook.
Other Requirements: Full-time, in person at our office 146 West 29th Street, Manhattan, NY
