Officer, the Chief Development Officer is the senior-level position responsible for coordinating the Council’s philanthropy function in keeping with GSCSA’s mission. Implements successful strategies for increasing philanthropy from major gifts, corporate, and individual donations as well as from multiple United Ways, signature events, and grants. Supervises other members of the Philanthropy team to develop and implement robust policies and strategies for generating, receiving, and acknowledging financial and in-kind donations. Clearly and persuasively coordinates the activities associated with presenting the Council’s philanthropic case (in writing or orally) to donors, donor prospects, and to groups interested in or associated with the Girl Scouts. Collaborates with other members of the Philanthropy team to assess and administer resource development information systems and other resource development structures.

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Maintenance of organizational membership throughout employment.

-Emphasize professional relationship building with assigned agents.
-Keeps up to date on regulatory changes, bulletins and other ongoing training.
