This position is responsible for generating revenue for KRDO-AM/FM/NPG Digital while cultivating strong client relationships.
Job Description:
We are a fast-paced newsroom that puts an emphasis on investigative reporting, breaking news and weather coverage. If you like to win and have the drive to find ways to make your news coverage stand out, this is the newsroom for you! The successful candidate will be able to identify the "big story" of the day and understand what makes an impactful newscast with a focus on strong writing and showcasing skills. This is a hybrid position that will involve producing live, TV newscasts and producing content for our website and social media platforms.
A degree in journalism, mass communications or equivalent experience is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure and handle stress are a must. Must be a good team leader, proficient in multi-tasking and have a flexible schedule. Broadcast news producing and/or digital writing experience is preferred.
Annual Salary Range:
$41k - $43k; based on experience. Non-Exempt.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to; directing newscasts, live cut-ins, pre-produced news segments, promos and programs, working with department staff to advance shows technically and creatively.
The desired candidate will have complete working knowledge of Video/Audio/Graphics equipment, production/studio lighting systems and techniques, with attitudes necessary to delivering polished Newscasts, and training new Directors, Audio and Graphic Operators.
A two-year degree in television production or equivalent experience, outstanding verbal communication and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations required.
Annual Salary Range:
$33K-36K; based on experience. Non-Exempt.

You'll become a critical component of upholding our company culture and image all while helping us to look and feel our absolute best through the ambiance of our station.
Job Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain designated spaces both inside and outside of the facility daily, which includes the lobby, breakroom, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, parking lot and public areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, wash windows and empty trash daily.
• Report maintenance or safety issues as soon as they come to your attention.
• Maintain and stock supply rooms, breakroom and bathrooms as needed.
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of tools and cleaning chemicals.
• General handyman-level duties such as assembling items, hanging and securing items, painting, and general basic repairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Annual Salary Range:
$17.00-$20.00/hour; based on experience.Part-Time. Non-Exempt.
