• Full working knowledge of all NYSED reporting systems & upgrades, including NYSED IRS, NYSSIS portals;
• Oversees attendance, and longitudinal testing applications;
• Manages the collection and verification of data for the Student Data Management System, Special Education Student Management System, Student Learning and Assessment Management Systems;
• Assists school district users in the operation of the Student Data Management Systems, Student Learning and Assessment Management Systems that will include training of users personnel and troubleshooting to identify and resolve user and system problems;
• Communicates with software vendors’ Help Desk support personnel and District technology department managers in dealing with technical issues that arise;
• Maintains the Student Data Management Systems, Student Learning and Assessment Management Systems software documentation libraries;
• Performs data verification for federal/state reporting ensuring timely and accurate submission to NYSED;
• Makes recommendations to the Superintendent or school district administrator relative to the current and future Information technology needs of the districts;
