Act as an advocate for the customer in reporting feedback and resolving issues. Ensure individual productivity and quality levels are met to meet and exceed customer expectations. Work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and collaborate across the organization. Education & Licensure Requirements: Juris Doctorate or LLB Preferred State bar licensure Preferred Qualifications: Customer service relationship building in all customer contacts. Strong PC skills, including working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, multiple internet browsers as well as basic troubleshooting steps Typing skills – minimum 40 wpm. Lexis Advance and Lexis + product experience a plus. Commitment to providing resolution to customer issues on the first pass. Strong communication skills both written as well as verbal. Strong business acumen to understand the impact of decisions on the customer base as measured by the Net Promoter Score performance. Must be able to work flexible hours on a part time basis (19 hours/week maximum), including holidays and weekends. to support a global organization and meet customer expectations. The Account Executive Courts is responsible meeting with and building relationship with the “ C Level” ( CEO, CFO, CIO Presiding Judge as well as other Judges) specifically... in the Courts assigned to them the goal in addition to building the relationship with these individuals is to gain acceptance and usage in the Courts Market. The Account Executive Courts will work the full “Sales Cycle” from Prospecting to Close. The Account Executive will collaborate proactively with their sales partners including Solutions Consultants.
In order to be successful, the SLG AE Courts must have a strong understanding of court systems in general and specifically in our top states. In addition they will need to attend Court and Judicial Seminars and Conventions Nationwide.
Accountabilities
• Creates and manages a prospecting target list.
• Meets with decision makers in the Courts.
• Uncovers Needs, partners with Solutions Consultant when needed to deliver compelling presentations and manages the “Trial Process” of Lexis Nexis.
• Becomes familiar and capable of uncovering needs for our full solution line.
• Conducts in-person and virtual presentations and training to individual, customer user groups, and at trade shows/conferences to help promote LexisNexis products, solutions and content in the marketplace
• Strong understanding of the state and local government market and competitive products/solutions with the ability to provide insight to drive development of commercial activities to grow market share within the court
• Acts as an internal resource for sales, marketing, and segment on assigned products and courts
• Build strong relationships internally and externally
• Utilize all required processes, tools and systems
• Identify market development or acquisition opportunities and partner with appropriate product/conduct team members to drive forward.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctorate
• 3+ years of proven sales or training experience
• Legal practice experience, experience working in a Court (law clerk, magistrate, former judge), or former litigator strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively work individually and partner with teams to drive individual and team goals
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively partner and collaborate across teams
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Ability to lift/carry laptop or iPad and other sales materials up to 25lbs.
