Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and specialized blood bank testing, including blood typing, antibody screening, crossmatching, and compatibility testing.
• Prepare blood components for transfusion, including red blood cells, platelets, plasma, and cryoprecipitate.
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of laboratory practice.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and function.
• Maintain accurate records of all tests performed and results obtained.
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret test results and provide insights into patient care.
• Assist in the management of blood inventory, ensuring an adequate supply of blood products for transfusion.
• Participate in the investigation of transfusion reactions and other adverse events.
• Provide technical expertise and support in the development and implementation of new testing methods.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical transfusion services laboratory.
• Strong knowledge of blood bank testing methods and laboratory techniques.
