Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently, including specimen processing, sample analysis, and result reporting.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols to maintain the integrity and accuracy of laboratory test results.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document and maintain accurate records of test results, quality control data, and other relevant laboratory information.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory staff, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure clear understanding of test requirements and results.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated on the latest developments in laboratory science and technology.

Qualifications:
• Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT) preferred.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in a reference laboratory environment.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, procedures, and instrumentation related to hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 5:00pm
• $22.00 - $27.00/hour
