As a Voluntary Claims Examiner, you will work alongside an experienced and dynamic team processing claims in a fair, ethical and timely manner for our customers.
What you'll be doing
• Analyzing and leveraging contractual provisions to render accurate claim decisions
• Effectively navigating and leveraging all aspects of the claim processing systems
• Demonstrating an understanding of basic medical terminology and utilizing tools to interpret and apply to claim decisions
• Applies critical thinking and analytical skills to ensure financial accurate claim payments
• Leverages strong communication skills to enhance both internal and external customer experiences
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
• 1-3+ years’ experience in the insurance industry working with Accident, Critical Illness and/or Hospital Indemnity products in a Claims Examiner capacity or other transferrable capacity

Pay Range: $19.30 - $24.37
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
