The Technology Support Manager (TSM) is responsible for maintaining the functionality of all Chemical Engineering (CHE) laboratory course equipment and support for CHE research equipment as appropriate. The TSM will support technical service to FBRI research facilities, equipment and laboratories housed in the Technology Research Center (TRC) and/or Jenness Hall. The TSM will design, build and commission new equipment as appropriate.

The TSM will serve as the Safety Coordinator of Jenness Hall and the FBRI TRC and is responsible for Safety and Environmental Management (SEM) programs for all CHE laboratory and research areas and the TRC. The TSM is responsible for operator training and safety training for staff and students. In addition, the TSM will facilitate training by faculty/experts on specialized equipment for staff and students.
