About the Role

The Influencer Marketing Associate for LG H&H US is a critical part of the digital marketing team, which is at the center of growth plan for our brands. This person will create and execute the influencer marketing plan with an internal team and agency to identify influencers and creators fit for our brand portfolio, nurture the relationship with target influencers, and ultimately create organic buzz for our brands.

We’re looking for someone who’s obsessed with growing awareness of brands through experimenting with new tactics and strategies, grounded in data, and creative in approach to grow a fan base for our brands. Responsibilities:
• Develop day-to-day plan to execute influencer marketing strategy, inclusive of campaign objectives, KPIs, targeting that will drive earned media value for a portfolio of beauty and personal care brands.
• Manage the relationships with a pool of influencers and creators fit for each brand, within set-budget and effectively.
• Build day-to-day plan to execute paid influencer marketing strategy, in the context of overall social marketing.
• Write briefs and execute contracts for paid influencers.
• Manage logistics and invoicing for influencer marketing.
• Report on key metrics associated with influencer/creator marketing, including weekly/monthly reviews and insight-based planning sessions.
• Immerse in our key brands and develop an effective creative brief for influencers/creators, aligned with brand narrative priorities.
• Collaborate closely with owned social team, PR, paid marketing, and brand teams.
• Maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging trends and capabilities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience in organic social and influencer marketing.
• In-house or agency experience in running influencer marketing is strongly preferred.
• Beauty, fashion, lifestyle and/or health & wellness experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with tools such as Tribe, Dash Hudson preferred.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, project management, and analytical skills.
• Strong in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

The Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) is responsible for supporting the development and execution of category brand strategy across all channels to build strong brands and categories. The ABM works collaboratively with cross-functional partners to ensure flawless execution at all Representative and Consumer touch points for all base and new products. The ABM establishes meaningful relationships and partnerships with multiple teams (HQ GBU, Sales, Learning & Development, etc.).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supports developing a rolling product innovation calendar in many possible ways of product development timelines.
• Help guide decision making on the evolution of the respective product portfolio by leveraging data, consumer insights and product expertise.
• Responsible for all aspects of the brand management from initial concept to go-to-market including but not limited to: concept brief, copy, product positioning, competitive advantage, copy, artwork, etc.
• Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across the channels.
• Evaluate analytics including but not limited to: sales, profitability, stocks, SKUs, etc., to extract key insights for future product development and go-to-market strategies and growing the category or brand in the market, by helping to complete with formal proposals and recommendations on strategies and tactics.
• Supporting the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration with cross-functional team to launch on time.
• Execute and track projects with a detailed understanding of the NPD process.
• Manage spreadsheets for tracking products/projects for weekly/daily reviews as necessary.
• Interface with outside vendors to manage, receive, track and classify vendor information, sample submissions, fact sheets, costs and quantities.
• Help to drive NPD process across teams, internal and external.
• Help guide decision making regarding the content and production of all channels.
• Close partnership with relevant cross-functional teams, to build but not limited to brand awareness, sales, profitability, stock levels, etc. by leading and gaining alignment.

QUALIFICATIONS
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; with 3-7 years of progressive and successful experience in product development or marketing
• Experience marketing in a digital world, (i.e., social media, e-commerce, analytics, on-line) is required.
• Experience working in a matrix environment and cross functional teams is required.
• Proven ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and data-driven decision making.
• Deep understanding of trends and how they relate to our customers.
• Experience in successful partnership with R&D / Supply Chain / Sales organizations to develop innovative products supported by specific and relevant storytelling

Salary range: 75-85k

Your role within the team

Reporting to the Associate Director of Consumer and Marketing Insights the Category Manager will contribute to providing the senior leadership team with appropriate information and analytical tools for establishing goals and measuring performance. This individual will drive marketing analytics, reporting and insights, and utilize their analytical and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional team members and department heads to drive results and meet targets as defined by operating and strategic business plans.

Duties and responsibilities
• Marketing Analytics and Insights – reporting and analysis of sales performance and marketing promotions, including sku velocity and other productivity metrics by retailer.
• Marketing Modelling and Insights- work with the marketing team to build performance advertising models, track performance by sales channels and offer data-driven recommendations.
• Business Reporting and Analysis – manage both canned and ad hoc reports.
• Category Management and Analytics – performs category analysis, develops insights, and helps prepare business review presentations.
• Marketing Promotion Management - assists marketing in development of promo plans, analyzes and reports on spend vs budget, implements trade systems and processes, and estimates event volume forecasts and ROI.
• Establish formal business intelligence tracking processes as well as fact-based selling practices.
• Syndicated Data Analysis and insights (e.g. Stackline, Nielsen, etc.)

Desired Skills and Experience
• 3-5 years of business analytics or category management experience for a FMCPG company
• Analytical and loves data, but can also draw actionable insights from data and help tell the story through data visualization and presentation
• Must have strong expertise working with PowerBI (or other data visualization tools)
• Experience working with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, SPINs) strongly preferred
• Data science, data analytics, or data visualisation background, preferred
• Expertise using Google Apps (Gmail, Docs, etc.) and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and challenging startup environment
• Willingness to roll up their sleeves to do whatever it takes to get the job done
• Must be a problem-solver who is team-oriented and passionate about the business.
• Results-oriented individual with strong business acumen.
• Self-directed, pro-active, detail-oriented, and an individual who takes ownership.
• Startup / early stage, food industry, and natural products experience preferred
