The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) is looking to hire a Business Intelligence Developer to join the Reports & Data Integration team. The Reports & Data Integration team supports the Department of Children and Families (DCF). The primary responsibilities of this role involve the design & development of business intelligence reports, dashboards (internal & external), datasets, data models, analytics, ad-hoc reporting, and agency metric systems which allow DCF to perform efficiently. This individual will report to the IT Manager - Reports & Data Integration at DCF and collaborate with other stakeholders at the DCF.
The primary work location for this role will be at 600 Washington Street, Boston, Massachusetts. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM EST. This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop user interactive reports in Power BI, Tableau, JASPER or similar tools.
• Write Oracle PL/SQL scripts and objects such as stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, and indexes per business requirements.
• Create ETL packages to migrate data from OLTP sources to OLAP destinations through available tasks and transformations.
• Write Linux Shell scripts and setup crontab for auto scheduling of batch jobs/reports.
• Provide production support and root cause identification on time during the production job failures.
• Consult in the identification and refinement of business needs, requirements, and functional specifications for assigned project and change activities
• Maintain knowledge and familiarity with current and emerging technologies, best practices, business processes, industry trends, and information security considerations.
• Perform profile server resource usage and optimize as necessary
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• A minimum of five years of experience in programming -emphasis on data report functions
• Expertise in the designing and development of reports in one of the latest reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, JASPER, etc.
• Work on all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
• Strong experience in creating complex database objects such as PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Tables, Global Temporary Table (GTT), Views, and Indexes using Quest Toad and Oracle SQL*Plus tools.
• Expertise in Extraction Transformation Loading (ETL) using SQL*Loader, Oracle External Table, and UTL_FILE.
• Strong knowledge with normalization technique, entity relationship model, exception handling, debugging technique, and PII data obfuscation techniques/ automations.
• Experience in optimizing large and complicated SQL statements.
• Experience with using Oracle database in a Linux/Windows environment
• Experience in creating batch jobs using Linux shell scripting.
• Snowflake experience is a plus, but not required.
• Prior experience with logical, conceptual, and physical data models
• Created various dimensions for warehousing data process.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to tailor information to the nature of an audience
• Must be able to identify and manage priorities within the context of overall agency objectives
Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
• Software development or other related certifications are a plus, but not required

We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer with 3 years of experience to join our growing practice. The candidate is anticipated to support a variety of projects related to community facilities, social infrastructure, urban design, and adaptive reuse. The primary design assignments will include architectural design and conceptual development in early design phases, as well as Schematic Design through Construction Documents Phase.
The ideal candidate will have:
• At least 3 years of related architectural design and post-graduate experience
• A professional degree in architecture (BARCH or MARCH);
• A strong portfolio showing excellence in design iteration, and strong graphic representation skills in 2D and 3D
• Proven experience performing design analysis and translating design concepts into actionable and feasible design drawings for implementation;
• Capacity to contribute across project phases, from early phase conceptual design work through design development, and construction documentation
• Command of REVIT as the primary tool for architectural drawing is a must; proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion and/or other software;
• Ability to work collaboratively in team settings, while exhibiting individual initiative and strong time-management skills;
• Demonstrated interest in low-carbon design & construction and building performance;
• A commitment to working in the Boston area and contributing positively to the global office culture.
• Experience working in multi-family housing and/or healthcare is a plus.

May Institute is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Behavior Therapists who want to make a positive difference in the lives of children and adolescents diagnosed with autism or developmental disabilities. In this position you will work directly with children, teaching them communication, social, and play skills. This instruction will occur in the natural context of a child's... home, school, or other community setting. You will be trained in state-of-the-art instruction based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and receive supervision from an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
This is an exciting opportunity to:
• Implement individually designed behavior and skills training programs to children with developmental disabilities
• Learn how to record and analyze meaningful data to track progress and effectiveness of program
• Utilize graphing software to effectively map growth and progress of child
• Graph data to illustrate progress over time
• Be an integral part of a clinical team
We are looking for someone who has:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• A budding interest in Psychology (special education?) and looking to gain experience in the field
• An interest in working with children and adolescents who have developmental disabilities
