THE OPPORTUNITY
This is your chance to experience unique work, working with fun products! Each week, travel to stores in your assigned territory in the ROCK HILL, SC area. Work is completed in ongoing 4-week cycles: two hours per store in Week 1 and one hour per store in Weeks 2, 3, and 4. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzer, B.E.R. testers, Power Meters, Amplifiers, Filters, Attenuators, Up/Down Converters, Power Supplies and RX/TX Converters
• Set up, adjust, and calibrate standard test apparatus or devices
• Analyzes and records testing results.
• Utilize test equipment to conduct functional, operational, and environmental testing.
• Perform detailed RF test measurements such as gain transfer, frequency response, noise figure, modulation and return loss using manual and automated tests.
• Understand the operation of various types of test equipment such as Power Meters, Frequency Counters and Spectrum/Network Analyzers.
• Must have a strong technical electronics background, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to conduct failure analysis
• Ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships with other employees, contractors, and the customer
• Knowledge in concepts, characteristics, capabilities, and theoretical design of microwave radio equipment
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
• 1-2 years’ experience in repairing and installing microwave radio systems
• Must be SME Nokia certified on Wavence or ALU 9500MPR Microwave Radios or be able to pass certification testing within 90 days of employment.
• Experience with at least one of the following: public safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, military communications, civil infrastructure construction desired
• Understanding of two-way radio / cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems.
• Must be able to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints
• Ability and willingness to learn additional technical skills quickly
• Must have knowledge of microwave path alignment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint & Project)
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
