Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.
What You Will Do:
• Supervise the conversion and changeover of the building from event to event including but not limited to NBA, college basketball, concert productions, corporate events, etc.
• Supervise the operation of all event setup and teardown equipment including stages and platforms, basketball court flooring, basketball goals, scorers’ tables, retractable seating, etc. in compliance with Cal. OSHA, Life & Safety, and ADA regulations.
• Inspect areas after they have been converted to ensure the internal and external customer is satisfied and all items in the production notes have been addressed to meet safety regulations.
• Hire, train, empower, , and evaluate staff; provide or coordinate staff training as needed.
• Assist in preparation of conversion estimates for different types of conversions and for individual shows as needed.
• Work directly with Operations management and Human Resources in coordinating progressive disciplinary action in verbal and written form for violation of company policies.
• Track changeover supplies and equipment and execute effective inventory management practices to guarantee staff has the appropriate supplies and equipment required to perform their duties efficiently.
• Support Intuit Dome’s robust sustainability program.
• Oversee overall cleanliness and organization of the venue.

Your Background, Skills, and Experience:
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the field of facility management preferably in a complex and sophisticated deadline driven environment.
• A minimum of one (1) year supervisory management experience in live entertainment venue conversion with direct responsibility supervising and leading staffs across a wide range of operating functions in a changing environment.
• Previous experience and certification operating heavy machinery such as forklift, scissor lift and golf carts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively and professionally, diplomatically, and maturely with internal and external clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community, both oral and written.
• Highly organized with hunger to develop project management skills and attention to detail to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
