The ideal candidate for the Senior Sterile Processing Tech position will be certified with a minimum of two years hospital-based sterile processing experience.

Location: Life Sciences Plaza

Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Performs duties and troubleshoots in all areas of sterile processing to include decontamination, assemble, sterilization of advanced instrumentation and equipment while adhering to the manufacturer and department guidelines. Identifies and inspects instruments for cleanliness and functionality. Operates and troubleshoots equipment. Maintains safety standards. Prepares case carts and delivers instrumentation to the operating room. Stocks operating room par levels for stored instrumentation and emergency carts.

Qualifications - External

EDUCATION
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Diploma from an approved Sterile Processing Program.

EXPERIENCE
Required: Two years hospital-based sterile processing experience. With preferred education, no experience required.
