About the role

As Miro continues to evolve, we are looking for a Head of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement. In this role, you will use a structured and data-driven method to identify, analyze, and optimize Miro's spending patterns to ensure cost savings, better value, and increased vendor accountability. As the Head of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with Miro's overall goals and objectives.

What you’ll do
• Strategically partner with leaders across Miro to identify business needs, manage complex software and services purchases, renewals, and other negotiations and collaborate with vendors to ensure those needs are met
• Perform market and data analysis to identify key spend areas of improvement and develop category management programs
• Lead a results-focused global team of procurement professionals in support of professional development, strategy and execution of Miro's business vision
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Finance, IT, Business Technology, to ensure procurement decisions support the company's mission
• Drive awareness and comprehension of procurement processes and policies through internal training and communication
• Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the organization.

What you'll need
• 8+ years of procurement experience
• Ability to build strong relationships with vendors and with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving vendor relationships through strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex procurement processes
