Key Responsibilities
What will the role involve?
You will oversee a team focusing on US content day-to-day, choosing the best stories and liaising with all departments to create a dynamic and diverse website while managing staff and projects confidently as and when required. Growing our digital audience will be your top priority - and you'll be passionate about doing it.
You will coordinate digital conferences and represent the department, work with other editorial leaders and ensure all content is legally and IPSO compliant while taking an interest in development of staff and ensure the department's culture is open and inclusive.

Who are we looking for?
An experienced journalist with in-depth knowledge of media law. You will be a capable, assured and experienced digital media expert and will have worked at a national or major regional level before. You will manage a talented, driven team with ease, and be able to support and direct in a pressured and frequently changing environment.

You will generate and cover day to day celebrity and TV news, ensuring that the focus is always on the site's most-searchable stories. Who are we looking for?
An experienced journalist with in-depth knowledge of media law, you have a strong track record of Showbiz and/or TV reporting experience at a national title. You will have a fantastic eye for detail and have a keen interest in the developments of the TV/showbiz world.
You have first rate communication skills, both written and verbal, a strong passion and knowledge for Showbiz. You enjoy the test of working to tight deadlines and experience of working in a digital newsroom and SEO would be beneficial.
