The Sales Development Representative position is responsible for qualifying new business. Often the first point of contact with prospective customers, the Sales Development Representative has full responsibility for delivering a positive customer experience that will set the stage for continued engagement and growing interest in Monotype’s type, technology, and expertise.
What you’ll be doing:
• Manage inbound sales requests received via web, email, and phone
• Outbound prospecting to build pipeline for Mid-Market and Enterprise Sales Teams
• Ensure efficient lead routing to appropriate sales teams
• Review, contact, and qualify marketing-generated leads
• Identifying and passing off qualified opportunities
• Work with sales managers and sales enablement to stay well versed in Monotype’s products
• Collaborate with sales managers and sales teams to refine sales strategies and approaches

What you'll be doing:
• Understand Monotype's business, interpret revenue arrangements, assess revenue implications, and document conclusions on revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606
• Perform monthly accounting close activities, including but not limited to preparing account reconciliations and control documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for external auditors and proactively resolve revenue-related queries
• Assist in driving business process improvements and automation, bringing best practices to accounting operations
• Assist in supporting multiple strategic initiatives across Monotype's business.
• Provide support to any ad-hoc projects
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field required, CPA or MBA a plus
• 2-4 years' technical accounting experience or related corporate accounting experience required
• Experience working in a growing fast paced environment
• Experience in the application of US GAAP revenue standards and ASC 606 implementation requirements
• Advanced Excel skills required; Salesforce and SAP/Tier 1 ERP experience highly desired
• Sense of urgency, curiosity and eye for details
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills combined with good business judgement

Reporting to our VP, Digital Experience the Director, Product Marketing is a dynamic leader who will play a critical role by being the voice of our solutions and experts on our markets. This role will serve as a trusted partner to Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Management, and our broader Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, results-oriented professional who is capable of earning trust and confidence of senior leadership, with the right combination of marketing experience and technical prowess to help propel sales and adoption of our solutions.
What you'll be doing:
• Provide executive leadership for all product messaging, competitive analysis and positioning, product launch management, GTM strategy, sales enablement, and customer/segment insights to inform strategic campaigns that help drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
• Lead the company-wide development of product messaging and positioning, including competitive differentiation across different customer segments across channels and in product experiences.
• Partner with our GTM direct sales teams to ensure the team are empowered and inspired to deliver double digit growth for our platform offering.
• Drive high-visibility product GTM plans that define how we develop, implement, and communicate new and existing product offerings.
• Partner with product leadership to incorporate voice of the customer into product planning with customer research, market and competitive intelligence and product performance data.
• Represent Monotype at key conferences to build the product brand and awareness.
• Lead the development of launch plans and campaigns for marketing, sales, partners, affiliates, and foundries to demonstrate innovation and ultimately drive awareness and revenue. Ensure sales teams are ready to pitch product value, new capabilities, and differentiation.
• Partner with sales enablement team to identify and create compelling and easy to understand internally facing content for our sales teams. Partner closely with perpetual demand generation function to tell compelling stories that help build demand and drive revenue across our offerings and across the customer lifecycle for all segments.
• Leveraging our research capabilities, work to understand, develop and maintain buyer and user personas to feed into product development and marketing activities.
• Partner with sales to develop, manage and execute a strategic pipeline of external customer references.
• Create a vision for the short and long-term product marketing strategy requirements for scale.
• Manage, coach and grow a multi-faceted, diverse and high-performance product marketing team.
• Effectively prioritize activity and resources within that team for a demanding high growth company with both offline and online sales.

What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, technology, business, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years' experience in product marketing, go-to-market, product management, software or strategic consulting.
• 5+ years' experience working with a large direct B2B sales team
