DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
• Perform moderately complex office support encompassing a variety of independent, specialized business duties for the assigned department or office.
• Exercise general discretion and work with independence.
• Maintain and enter/extract data. Maintain recordkeeping and tracking systems. Research, gather information and organize data to prepare complex reports, presentations, summaries of various materials, as well as compose and edit a variety of correspondence.
• Oversee, review, and reconcile accountants, patient accounts or payroll reports, prepare HR related documents, calculate/record leave usage for departmental employees and respond to related inquires . Support preparation of complex plans, tracking systems, bids and/or proposals. Maintain accurate records of processes.
• Work closely with vendors, customers and/or internal or external constituencies. Schedule appointments and manage calendar.
• Oversee and/or order supplies and office equipment. Process and sign requisitions, vouchers, and related documents.
• Provide guidance, instruction, train, and assign/delegate work as appropriate .
• May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
• One (1) year of experience in a related field.

JOB DUTIES
Coordinate the flow and sharing of medical records and health information throughout various hospital and clinic departments.
High level of customer service, strong analytic and problem-solving skills to interpret and explain policies and external requirements related to chart documentation, privacy, release of information. JOB DUTIES
Respond to general patient inquiries regarding treatment and clinic policies and procedures; Prepare patients for the health care visit by accompanying them to the examining room; providing examination gowns and drapes; positioning patients for examination and/or treatment; arranging examining room instruments, supplies, and equipment.

BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY :

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist nursing staff /ancillary staff in the transfer of patients from bed to bed, stretcher or wheelchair.
Educate and train new staff members in the responsibilities of the Care Team Associate role.
Perform other duties as delegated by nursing staff and unit management as needed in both routine and emergent situations.
Responsible for accurate and timely entry of information into computerized bed-management system.
Transport patient via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to destination. Includes taking patients to tests, transfers and discharges.
Transfer infusion pumps from pole to wheelchair, stretcher, and bed; Ensure equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, infusion pumps, etc. are routinely cleaned and available for use; Retrieve, tag, and deliver broken equipment to repair shop. Deliver equipment back to unit once repaired.
Supply and exchange medical gases throughout the facility as needed.
Perform routine cleaning and stocking of medical carts.
