This role reports into the Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing who leads a group within the Marketing Team that covers content creation, design, technical development, events, SEO, web design, and testing... frameworks.
Responsibilities
• Manage remote/virtual events strategy for Namely, Vensure, and affiliated brands including but not limited to:
• Event coordination, logistics, promotions, MC duties, and reporting on results
• Brainstorming topics that will attract prospects in the target audience for Namely and affiliated brands
• Working with partners and internal parties to create content and decks for webinars
• Coordinating lead sharing strategies to drive demand for Namely's product
• Driving marketing influenced pipeline and generating Marketing Accepted Leads (MALs) and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
• Maintaining pre- and post-show communication
• Analyzing, tracking, and reporting on event ROI
• Communicating events strategy to entire Go to Market (GTM) organization
• Managing events budget
• Manage Namely's down-funnel event strategy, including live case studies, product webinars, and Namely Connections events
• Support management of Namely's SpeakHer Mind Program
• Assist in-person event team as-needed on Namely's trade show and conference presence, swag, etc.
• Partner with sales and marketing leadership to spearhead annual Sales Kick Off
• Support organization of Namely's client User Group
• Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry experts
• Own speaker proposals and award entries in conjunction with our PR agency
• Write and/or edit press releases as needed
• Manage guest blog posting program, including communicating with external writers, assisting with calendar management, and editing blogs
• Manage certain components of client and prospective client communications, from weekly newsletters to law alerts and other resources
• Write 1-3 blog posts per month for blog.namely.com to support the editorial calendar (e.g. promoting or recapping virtual events, or overview on new compliance law alerts)
• Working with partners, find opportunities to increase SEO using backlinking strategies and increase lead generation using newsletter and social media swaps
Requirements
• BA/BS Degree required
• Best-in-class interpersonal skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and strong time management skills, with an ability to manage resources and budgets
• Metric driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data

We’ve built a strong engineering team to date, but have a lot of work ahead of us, including:
• Defining domain boundaries and implementing robust APIs for internal and public consumption of our Human Capital Management (HCM) services
• Leveling up our platform, including enhancing our test coverage, observability, alerting, and performance
Help us scale our business to meet the needs of our growing customer base and develop new products on the Namely platform. You'll be a critical part of our growing company, leading the way to implement best practices in technology, architecture, and process. Responsibilities
• Design, create and own high quality, scalable and heavily tested software across our stack
• Evolve our systems through solid architectural design and drive best practices through code review
• Lead the teams in designing and implementing MVPs across greenfield and brownfield projects
• Provide technical mentorship to engineers across the organization
• Work in a cross-functional environment, partnering across engineering, product, design, and business functions
Requirements
• 8+ years experience designing, building, shipping and maintaining distributed web applications and services
• Solid CS fundamentals with experience across a range of disciplines, with one or more area of deep knowledge and experience
• Proven track record of senior technical leadership at a company with a strong engineering culture
• Fluency in one or more server-side programming languages, with Ruby or C# strongly preferred
• Experience with Kafka or equivalent messaging bus
• Analytical mindset and an ability to identify and weigh architectural design tradeoffs
• Working knowledge of relational databases and schema design principles
• Motivated, self-starter that is able to work both independently and in cooperation with a larger team

Please note the base salary range for this position is between $130,000 - $160,000 annually. The salary is dependent on experience, knowledge, and skills based on the responsibilities outlined in the job description.

Key Responsibilities
• Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers, who they are, how they buy, and their key buying criteria.
• Own and organize client upsell and cross-sell programs and initiatives
• Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned and keep the GTM team informed.
• Collaborate with product management and marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
