Responsibilities
• Manage remote/virtual events strategy for Namely, Vensure, and affiliated brands including but not limited to:
• Event coordination, logistics, promotions, MC duties, and reporting on results
• Brainstorming topics that will attract prospects in the target audience for Namely and affiliated brands
• Working with partners and internal parties to create content and decks for webinars
• Coordinating lead sharing strategies to drive demand for Namely's product
• Driving marketing influenced pipeline and generating Marketing Accepted Leads (MALs) and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
• Maintaining pre- and post-show communication
• Analyzing, tracking, and reporting on event ROI
• Communicating events strategy to entire Go to Market (GTM) organization
• Managing events budget
• Manage Namely's down-funnel event strategy, including live case studies, product webinars, and Namely Connections events
• Support management of Namely's SpeakHer Mind Program
• Assist in-person event team as-needed on Namely's trade show and conference presence, swag, etc.
• Partner with sales and marketing leadership to spearhead annual Sales Kick Off
• Support organization of Namely's client User Group
• Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry experts
• Own speaker proposals and award entries in conjunction with our PR agency
• Write and/or edit press releases as needed
• Manage guest blog posting program, including communicating with external writers, assisting with calendar management, and editing blogs
• Manage certain components of client and prospective client communications, from weekly newsletters to law alerts and other resources
• Write 1-3 blog posts per month for blog.namely.com to support the editorial calendar (e.g. promoting or recapping virtual events, or overview on new compliance law alerts)
• Working with partners, find opportunities to increase SEO using backlinking strategies and increase lead generation using newsletter and social media swaps

Requirements

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 years of progressive experience in all phases of application software development/maintenance life cycles in a web-based SaaS environment
• 2 years of experience of managing and developing a team of Software Engineers
• Experience with modern JavaScript development, with frameworks such as Angular, Node.js, Express etc.
• Experience in developing extensible REST APIs and highly maintainable services.
• Experience in Agile Software Delivery and Operations Management and people management
• Strong communication, with the ability to explain complex technical problems to non-technical audiences and the ability to translate customer requirements to technical designs

Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of modern microservice-based architectures and methodologies
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud vendor solutions like GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline
• Experience leading geographically dispersed, diverse, and virtual teams
• Payroll or HR domain knowledge is a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Execute customer upsell campaigns, including developing and launching email marketing campaigns, tracking campaign performance, and reporting on results.
• Use Marketo to create and send emails to customers and prospects, including writing copy and setting up email workflows.
• Support the development and maintenance of marketing processes, including maintaining marketing databases, updating customer profiles, and managing data hygiene.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and product marketing, to develop targeted campaigns and messaging that resonate with our customer base.
• Analyze campaign performance data to provide insights and recommendations for improving campaign effectiveness.
• Develop a marketing plan for our offers in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.

• Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce, a plus.

Education & Experience
