Role and Responsibilities

With this position, we offer you a phenomenal opportunity to be part of the Global Index Operations team. We manage the daily calculation and dissemination of the Nasdaq Indexes, including the application of corporate actions that affect the indexes. Additionally, we develop and detail new indexes using an ever-expanding inventory of securities, data, and calculations.

As a part of our Market Index Services team; you will be responsible for the maintenance of the indexes and improving our systems. You will be a subject matter authority for the Nordics and European markets, financial products, companies, and market participants.
This means you will:
• Perform daily administration of Index processes and procedures as governed by the Index methodologies.
• Assist in resolving Index production issues.
• Draft, prepare, and/or publishes Index data related notices and other subject matters through relevant information channels, under supervision.
• Assist with basic and complex customer inquiries.
• Draft detailed documentation for new and existing Index data sources, processes, and standard operating procedures
• Research new data sources to discover and document their strengths and weaknesses
• Document and implement projects using Confluence, JIRA and other tools utilizing the Agile way of working
