Job Description

Custodians perform vital custodial maintenance duties including
dusting, sweeping, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming
and shampooing carpets, emptying trash and recycle, washing walls,
cleaning and restocking restrooms, and any other cleaning duties
assigned by the supervisor to maintain a clean, healthy and
attractive environment within the University.

University employees are responsible for being professional and
maintaining the highest ethical standards of conduct. They are
expected to practice integrity, trustworthiness, stewardship,
compliance, confidentiality, and respect to maintain a safe and
trusting environment.

Cleaning - 80%
• Cleans classrooms, residence halls, hallways, lobbies, lab
rooms and or offices of assigned buildings on the University
campus.
• Sweeps and mops hard floors in rooms and halls.
• Dusts and/or polishes furniture, blinds, and equipment.
• Cleans restrooms and fills paper and soap dispensers.
• Vacuums and spot clean rugs, carpets, and furniture using
commercial vacuum cleaners.
• Initiates work orders for repair/maintenance. Reports
malfunctions of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures and/or damages to
room and hall furnishings to a supervisor.
• Stocks area with appropriate supplies.
• Requests supplies from supervisor for restocking in their
area.
• Locks and unlocks doors as directed.
• Moves furniture, equipment or fixtures as required.
• Washes windows and other glass as required.

Job Description

The University Admissions office is a dynamic environment which
requires dedicated professionals to engage, excite, and enroll
qualified students to Northern Arizona University to help meet
enrollment goals. Student Recruitment Coordinator, Sr (SRC, Sr.)
role position is intended for seasoned admissions professionals who
have experience working in an admissions setting for at least two
years. The Student Recruitment Coordinator, Sr. will work to apply
the university's recruitment strategies to identify, recruit, and
enroll qualified new first year students across all education
delivery modalities (e.g. Flagstaff, Community Campuses, and
Online) from the assigned territory (in-state, WUE, and/or
non-resident). The person hired must demonstrate a strong
commitment to the values of student service, integrity, student

experience within a multi-cultural, collegiate environment is

Recruitment - 40%
• Cultivates and manages a recruitment territory or territories
to recruit qualified students to the university for all educational
delivery methods.
• Coordinates, implements, and participates in visits to high
schools, community colleges, businesses in the community, and other
university sponsored and/or approved recruitment events.
• Recruits traditionally aged freshman students.
• Helps the University Admissions Leadership Team in the
management of the recruitment and orientation areas of the

Program Strategy/Management - 20%
• Develops, implements, and maintains key University Admissions
programs to help facilitate the recruitment of qualified first-year

and University staff including, but not limited to the Student
Service Center, Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, Academic
Affairs, and/or other Arizona Board of Regents partners (i.e.
sister institutions).
• Interacts and maintains excellent working relationships with
faculty, staff, students, and outside/community agencies in
facilitating University Admissions and Enrollment Management
program objectives.
• Represents the University, its mission, policies, and
procedures to a broad range of constituents, in particular, those
in other segments of the education community, prospective students
and families, personnel in high schools, community colleges,
community-based organizations, businesses, etc.
• Develops and implements programming to meet the needs of
prospective students and other constituent groups to the University
(i.e. contemporary students/adult learners, honors students,
students from ethnically and culturally diverse backgrounds,
transfer students, first-generation students, etc.).
• Evaluates program effectiveness, assesses outcomes, and
develops improved programming to achieve goals, and complete cost
analyses for programs and events.
• Serves as a liaison to academic colleges and departments and
collects important information and updates from our academic
departments. Develops and maintains strong working relationships
with academic partners.

Consultation/Communication - 20%
• Counsel, guide, and advise prospective students, families, and
other constituents in the completion of complex admission and
financial aid forms, admissions requirements, transfer guidelines,
cost of attendance, financial aid programs, and various other

Travel - 15%
• Work some evenings and weekends: significant travel with 6-8
weeks in the fall semester and 4-5 weeks in the spring

and throughout the state, as well as via web and/or phone.

Job Description

Come join our team of more than 70 full-time, part-time, and student staff representing five continents and 16 native languages! Be a part of an internationally recognized Education Abroad Office. The Center for International Education (CIE) at Northern Arizona University (NAU) has received the Paul Simon Award, and the Education Abroad team within CIE has received the Heiskell Award.

Additionally, NAU is ranked in IIE's Open Doors within the top 10 US institutions for year-long study abroad participation. Our office has over 500 programs in more than 75 countries. We send students abroad for the year, semester, summer, and winter or spring break and offer students opportunities through exchange, provider, intern, and faculty-led programs based on their academic, financial, and personal needs. At NAU you will be able to work with a diverse group of students and partners. Our student body is nearly one-quarter Hispanic with a higher than average Native American population as well. The Assistant Director for Education Abroad will have responsibility for programs in their assigned region but will need to be flexible and is expected to accommodate changes in their region based on departmental needs.

The Center for International Education (CIE) at NAU seeks a
Business and Communication Technology Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Director of the Center for International
Education, the Business and Communication Technology Manager is a
positive, team-oriented and approachable professional who will
serve ensuring CIE's ability to provide timely and
excellent-quality services to current and incoming students by
ensuring that technical processes and communication needs are
resolved through technical expertise, project management skills,
intra- and inter- departmental collaboration and attention to
detail with a great customer service attitude.

CIE is comprised of seven divisions designed to serve international
students and scholars and Education Abroad participants from the
stage of prospect all the way through graduation or departure from
a short-term experience at NAU. This position will work primarily
with designing and managing communications with international
students from first contact with NAU through admission and support
communications campaigns through CIE's support divisions throughout
the student's experience at NAU. Another important role for to
fulfill in this position relates to educational partnership
management. As such, a commitment to service, detail, and CIE's
vision and mission is critical for success in this role.

Technical and Functional - 50%
• Possess technical knowledge of University systems and the
Salesforce environment, serves as a subject matter expert and
understands the university-wide implications of business processes
and communication plans.
• Employ advanced knowledge of Oracle, Python, My SQL, Trello,
and relevant PeopleSoft processes, such as 3C Engine/Mass Change,
Lettergen, Commgen, setting up communications and communication
checklists (categories, contexts and speed keys), back-end loading,
Communication Management, among others.
• Collaborate with external departments to perform ‘Update and
Fix' testing of PeopleSoft business processes.
• Employ technical knowledge of Business Objects/Enterprise
Reporting, Tableau, IBM Cognos and others as it pertains to the
reports utilized by the functional area.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of the population(s) and data
points required for all CIE, across multiple systems.
• Serve as the department's lead in developing, implementing,
managing and evaluating the Salesforce Marketing Cloud system.

customer journeys using Marketing Cloud Journey Builder.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and deliverability testing to
ensure the accuracy of email deployments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues by consulting with ITS.
• Create and implement a Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
knowledge-transfer plan for other Data and Distribution team

Marketing Cloud.

international students and international student enrollment.
• Create and maintain a detailed, unified database and dashboard
of international partnerships and agreements.
• Interact and develop partnerships with other departments and
work units to attain departmental goals and objectives.
• Conduct research, as appropriate, for projects or initiatives
within the work unit.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions and become informed
of the needs for solutions within CIE.
• Collaborate with communication management at NAU level to plan

reporting, and ensure these are documented and updated in manuals

Job Description

The Child Welfare Training Project at Northern Arizona University
is a collaborative effort between the Northern Arizona University
Social Work Department and the Arizona Department of Child Safety
(DCS). The goal of the project is to recruit and train bachelor's
and master's- level social workers to be competent Child Protective
Services workers. The mission is to prepare social work students to
be effective and competent child welfare workers who are able to
promote the well-being of the children and families involved in the
public child welfare system.

The Field Unit Social Worker functions as a case manager in a
contracted DCS unit. The social worker manages approximately 10
out-of-home (ongoing) DCS cases. The social worker is responsible
for teaching and modeling social work best practices for child
welfare interns; monitoring and evaluating reunification services;
ensuring compliance with DCS policy and procedures.

DCS Case Management - 50%
• Provides ongoing case management to DCS clients served by the
NAU Child Welfare Training unit.
• Manages approximately 10 ongoing DCS cases.
• Conducts child safety assessments.
• Refers for and monitors client progress in treatment
services.
• Complies with agency documentation including case notes, Family
Functioning Assessments, case plans, court reports, etc.
• Initiates and schedules home visits to children, parents, and
foster parents.
• Responsible for communicating with attorneys, law enforcement
agencies, community partners, and other team members regarding case

• Complies with all state statutes, DCS policies, and regional
operating procedures concerning DCS cases, including timely
documentation.

Social Work Intern Supervision - 40%
• Teaches, mentors, and supervises students in the Social
Work/DCS scholarship program.

Job Description

The Economic Policy Institute at NAU is a community development and
applied research center housed in The W. A. Franke College of
Business at Northern Arizona University. The Research Associate
will support the research activities of the Institute by serving as
co-principal investigator in lengthy continuous research projects.
The candidate will have demonstrated proficiencies in conducting
economic/demographic analyses, utilizing data management
technologies/applications and preparing presentations/reports on
research results.

This position requires specialized training and expertise and will
work cooperatively with all the Institute's internal units,
including the Arizona Hospitality Research and Resource Center
(AHRRC) and the Center for American Indian Economic Development
(CAIED). Incumbents may be required to travel to remote locations
to perform field studies or present at conferences.

The Research Associate position differs from classified staff
research positions in that typically greater education and
experience are required, and projects tend to be more complex and
wider in scope.

Research - 60%
• Develops or guides research activities, including developing
and improving research methodologies, techniques, data collection
and data analysis using statistical software.
• Remains current in data analysis packages such as IMPLAN, SPSS,
STATA, and SAS.
• Independently sets up and performs experiments and procedures
in support of research goals.
• Monitors research outcomes and suggests modifications to
research practices and protocols.
• Performs independent research and analyses using advanced
methods or procedures, with a special focus on economic impact
/economic contribution study, feasibility study, and economic
development strategy planning.

Minimum Qualifications
• Master's degree in relevant discipline.

Northern Arizona University requires satisfactory results for the

The Director for Enrollment Management University Admissions
Arizona Recruitment will provide leadership, direction,
supervision, and implementation of a comprehensive recruitment
strategy that is continuously assessed and refined and consistent
with the goals, mission, and resources of the university. The
Director will work directly and collaboratively with EM
Communications Team, EM Analytics & Assessment, Student
Services Center, Scholarship and Financial Aid, Housing and
Residence Life, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and other

Unit Management - 40%
• Supports and upholds the university's stated mission and
values.
• Implements the institution's enrollment plan for all campuses,
including oversight for the recruitment and admission efforts for
all student populations and for specific degree seeking populations
including first-generation, multicultural, non-traditional,
transfer, and graduate students.
• Counsels, guides, and advises prospective students and families
in the completion of complex admission and financial aid forms,

• Manages staffing and operations for multiple University
Admissions recruitment and orientation teams.
• Oversees the effective use of technology and human resources in
all departmental functional areas to increase efficiency,
productivity, and service to internal and external
constituents.
• Assesses and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of
functional area programs, policies, and procedures.
• Provides professional development opportunities for department
staff.
• Utilizes vendors and external products to enhance the
university's recruitment effort and develops and maintains
relationships with vender/product representatives.
• Assists AVP - EM in management of the Admissions state and
local operating budgets.

Support Department and Division Priorities - 15%
• Collaborates with:
• High Schools throughout the state of Arizona
• Sister institutions
• University departments and community colleges to Integrate
pathways from two-year colleges and other institutions to NAU
programs.
• Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to coordinate
financial aid strategies to further recruitment and admissions
goals and institutional priorities.
• Academic Affairs leaders to promote enrollment management as a
comprehensive, integrated approach toward improving student
recruitment and retention.
• The Graduate College and the Center for International Education
to coordinate and integrate recruitment and admissions strategies
for graduate student and international student populations.
• Represents the department on various committees, work groups,
and employee forums.
• Stays current on local, regional, and national trends
pertaining to area of assignment.

Minimum Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a
Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with progressive
responsibility in enrollment management and/or admissions.
