• This position will be based out of the national office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Current work environment is hybrid; 3 days in the office and 2 days are remote.
• All national office staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. 1. Perform database management duties using Excel, SPSS or similar programs that include aggregating, restructuring and merging data files.

2. Assist in disseminating findings by creating or collaborating on interactive data visualization dashboards (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, Tableau) for NCAA staff and external audiences.

3. Provide support for the administration of two NCAA grant programs (NCAA Graduate Student Research Grant Program, Innovations in Research and Practice Grant Program). Responsibilities will include answering related phone and email inquiries, contract management, awards coordination and budget tracking.

4. Input, track and manage online surveys using QuestionPro software.

5. Respond to general NCAA research inquiries and coordinate responses using NCAA and AP style protocols.

6. Track the research department’s budget processes.

7. Assist with the planning and coordination of research staff travel, meetings, summits and teleconferences, materials preparation, expense reports, and other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred.

• Experience in an academic research setting or similar preferred.

• Proficiency in the use of database management software such as Excel or similar programs required. Familiarity with online survey programs such as Qualtrics and QuestionPro and proficiency in the use of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, SAS, STATA, etc.) preferred.

• Proficiency in designing/editing PowerPoint slides and documents in other Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word and SharePoint) required. Data visualization proficiency (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics) preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.

• Effective and professional communication, both orally and in writing, with the membership, research staff and all levels of national office staff.

• Ability to effectively handle administrative matters, including expense reports, coordinated filing system, meeting planning, budgeting and project management.

• Discretion and sensitivity in handling internal and external confidential matters and materials.

Duties & Responsibilities

Academic Services and Student Development

•Manage the admissions process for all international student athletes, international student athlete documentations and all international student-athlete programming.

•Facilitate events and proper programming with other campus departments or resource departments.
