Job Summary
The Clinical Network Manager supports provider performance activities in an effort to improve quality care delivery of behavioral health services. Must utilize a clinical and business skillset to be a strategic business partner who actively engages with internal and external customers to achieve organizational goals.
Essential Functions
• Work closely with Clinical and Reporting & Analytics teams to assess provider data to identify provider performance opportunities.
• Support the identification of select providers in an effort to shift fee for service contracts to value-based models.
• Serve as a clinical liaison working between Lucet clinical and Quality teams and external participating providers/facilities to effectively meet desired clinical outcomes and collaboration.
• Create services and differentiators that meet the unique needs of the Plan's membership including high risk/high cost members (chronic and relapsing mental health conditions, substance use dependence, child and adolescent mental health, eating disorders and autism). Implement an ongoing monitoring program that ensures program integrity and performance.
• Support an effective internal communication and collaboration strategy to ensure awareness of program requirements and provider performance.
• Develop and implement comprehensive provider-specific plans for qualitative improvement in network performance working in concert with appropriate Lucet functional areas, for under-performing providers and support execution accordingly.
• Process and effectively address concerns, needs, and requests from internal and external customers.
• Utilize data analysis and identify outlier providers who would benefit from coaching and/or training.
• Partner with our Department Directors on provider education activities including development of web-based and face-to-face presentations for orientation and education.
• Participate in professional organizations and professional development activities; maintain professional growth and development through self-directed learning activities. Keep current with all clinical affairs trends, policies, and practices.
• Develop diverse, responsive "best practices" networks to meet organizational needs as measured by customer requests, geo access standards, routine appointment availability studies, member outcomes, and other metrics as may be identified.
• Distribution of educational material and procedures to network providers.
• Coordinate and manage delivery of educational programs such as workshops (live and web based) and quarterly meetings.
• Adhere to Lucet Mission Statement, Core Values, Code of Business Conduct, and Compliance Program.
• Comply with all Federal and applicable State laws and Lucet Policies regarding, privacy, confidentiality, and security of health information, and other designated information.
Job Qualifications
Required
• Master's Degree in behavioral health field and has a current, unrestricted state license to practice independently as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychologist or Registered Nurse in the state in which the business operation is located and/or other states as required by law, regulation or contract
• Minimum of two (2) years post-licensure clinical experience of clinical practice.
• Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in the principles, concepts and techniques of health care management related to substance use and/or mental health.
• Knowledge of outcomes-based reimbursement strategies; behavioral health clinical protocols; contract negotiation, customer relationship management, substance use step-down levels of care within residential, inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Experience conducting financial analysis by working with claim data and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to develop a business strategy.
• Proven track record of working as a team player to achieve business related goals that improve the quality and cost of care.
• Computer savvy with proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Must be able to travel up to 50%.
• Must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

• Substance abuse disorder specialty.
