As the Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for executing a strategy that will both directly and indirectly contribute to sales growth driven by:
• Managing the sales cycle for defined non-complex products
• Increase demand generation for assigned sales zone

• Serve as single point of contact for the customer on all sales activities for non-complex products

The Role

Atlas Copco Comptec LLC, located in Voorheesville, NY, is seeking a Core Machinist II. The working hours for this postion are Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. The primary objectives of this position include:

Operate one or two complex machines, CTX Gamma 2000TC, Hermle 5 axis mill, EZ Track Lathe, EZ Path Mill, Balancing Machines, Spin Pit to produce part to drawing dimensions and tolerances.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Follow Manufacturing Route Sheets
• Make own set-ups & assist others with set-ups
• Machine parts to drawing dimensions or perform functions in accordance with route sheets.
• Verify completion and accuracy of parts to drawing dimensions
• Use a variety of measuring instruments both common and specialized
• Machine to fine finishes and close tolerances
• Perform most shop math calculations
• Determine when tools need sharpening or replacement
• Work with minimum supervision
• The ability to understand M & G codes (CNC Operators Only)
• The ability to follow and understand CNC programs (CNC Operators Only)
• The ability to prove and revise CNC programs (CNC Operators Only)
• To comply with Safety Rules, Regulations and OSHA Requirements
