We are searching for someone who can join The New School's Cognitive, Social, and Developmental program. The faculty in this program chiefly examine how context, culture, and the social environment can shape cognition, attitudes, and behavior. Moreover, they approach problems from an interdisciplinary perspective that reflects the University's focus on both design and the social sciences. We are interested in applicants who can attract external funding and who can play an important role in training and mentoring at the masters and doctoral levels in the New School for Social Research, as well as in teaching, advising, and working in research with undergraduates at Eugene Lang College. Although we are open to a range of disciplines and approaches, we particularly welcome applicants with backgrounds in areas such as Psycholinguistics, Judgment and Decision Making, Reasoning, Attention and/or Cognitive Development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant must have:
• a significant record of research excellence
• a demonstrated commitment to quality undergraduate and graduate teaching
• completed their Ph.D. by June 30, 2023
• ability to adhere to University COVID-19 Policy
WORK MODALITY

SALARY RANGE
$75,000 - $90,000 per annum
