The Systems Administrator monitors and administers NFIB’s Windows workstation environment. Must be experienced in the management and implementation of all iOS, Windows OS and most MS applications... Communicates and works with other members of the IT department in resolving problems related to the IT systems – laptops, desktops, mobile, printers, etc. Well versed in the PC Service Desk environment and duties. Familiar with ticketing and time management. Evaluates related processes and suggests improvements to the organizational effectiveness. Strives to enhance and improve the IT infrastructure while delivering customer focused solutions and exemplary customer service. Excellent customer service skills, both in person, and through telephone and video contact. Identifies, researches, and resolves computer hardware and software problems, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure timely resolution. Front line IT staff responding to end-user requests for technical support.

1. An Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related area, or equivalent experience.

2. Microsoft certification preferred and continuing MS training required for continued employment (or equivalent). One of the following specialized certifications also required (or equivalent): COMP/TIA A+, COMP/TIA N+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

3. Seven (7) years’ experience in a multi-user computing environment. Five (5) years prior technical experience with personal computers and personal computer software.

4. Four (4) years’ experience of Microsoft technologies, and software/network environment. Some form of certification on systems/networks/networking technologies is preferred.

5. Two (2) years previous technical response/Help Desk experience in an Enterprise environment. Extensive knowledge of trouble ticket tracking tools.

6. Two (2) years of experience with performance software and analysis of performance parameters.

7. One (1) year of experience with local and wide area networking

8. One (1) year of experience with system security.

9. Prior experience managing multiple enterprise level Windows systems.

10. Prior experience tuning systems across a wide range of applications and software products.

11. Prior experience with multiple different enterprise level Operating Systems interoperability issues.

The ability to build quick rapport, deliver an engaging presentation, and close the sale with payment within 15 minutes is essential.
