As a Technology Success Consultant , you will advocate and promote the effective use of technology within the network office (NO) territory and facilitate the use of new and existing technologies into the financial advisor's practice and workflow of all NO team members (e.g. CRC, SET, DNOS, Recruiters etc.).

Apply a holistic consulting approach on an individualized basis to promote efficient and value-added utilization of technology to achieve individual goals and objectives.

You will serve as a member of the Northwestern Mutual technology training staff. You will interact both with our Corporate Technology Team and the onsite leadership team, supporting the needs of local leadership, Financial Representatives (FRs) and their staff. A role priority, and top performance metric, will be your ability to drive change within your office by leading FRs and their teams to adopt new and existing digital tools into their business.

This is a full-time, on-site resource, responsible for the coaching, training, mentoring NM’s technology suite to financial advisors and team members in local network, district, and detached offices.

T his position requires 100% onsite availability in New York, NY.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Establish, build and maintain relationships with key roles including financial advisors (FA), FA teams, NO leadership and team members to understand their individual business needs.
• Develop deep understanding of insurance and investment product sales cycle to consult to the effective implementation of technology throughout the cycle.
• Proactive engagement with NO leadership, NO team members, FAs and their teams, Home Office (HO, corporate office) leadership to ensure effective and efficient use of NM’s technology suite to maximize advisor and client value.
• Tailor consultative approach so that the specific benefits for each unique audience who will be using the technology are clearly demonstrated and understood.
• Act as feedback loop to HO leadership to ensure tech applications meet the needs of end-users and clients.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies where the financial advisors can apply use of new or existing technology to improve their practices.
• Articulate the benefits of leveraging technology to drive a positive client and advisor experience throughout the sales cycle.
• Ensure financial advisors and NO team members comprehend the specific benefits the use of technology will offer (e.g. increased productivity through time savings, increased sales, recruitment, improved client experience etc.)
• Partner with, and independently develop sound recommendations to NO leadership to assist them in establishing goals.
• Lead strategic planning, engagement, and execution efforts to ensure goals are attained and benefits realized. (e.g. increase field or recruitment productivity, capitalize on expense/revenue benefits through staff redeployment/reduction based on efficiencies gained etc.)
• Consult to NO training leadership teams on teaching and reinforcing technology use best practices throughout the sales cycle with new and existing financial advisors.
• Partner with NO and HO leadership to ensure a consistent messaging in promoting the proper use and integration of technology and proven business building benefits.
• Develop individualized action plans to assist FAs in leveraging technology in their business practice.
• Plan, schedule, and facilitate classes using established curriculum to leverage technology as a sales cycle productivity tool.
• Collaborate with appropriate resources to ensure relevant technology education is provided to the financial advisors and their staff.
• Consult to and partner with NO training team in leading Financial Planning Academy sessions to promote and deliver usage strategies on key technologies needed for a successful FA onboarding and development.
• Support technology rollouts making users aware of benefits, preparation, and training needed for successful deployment.
• Attend mandatory classes, conferences, and training sessions to remain current with changing technologies.
• Track and report engagement efforts and effectiveness to corporate and local management teams.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business or an equivalent combination of education and/or progressively responsible work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience to include the following: Experience can run concurrently or in addition to each:
• Five + years of consultation experience working with professionals in financial services or similar industry with demonstrated ability to build/develop relationships at various position levels through a consultative model.
• Minimum of three years' experience in coaching/training individuals how to optimize their business through the use of technology is highly desirable.
• Minimum of three years of coaching and training experience preferred.
• Minimum of five years financial services industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to understand software technology focused on sales practice and the ability to articulate the benefits and uses to select audiences.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Proven ability to consult and drive measurable improvements in an outcome-based model. (E.g., prior demonstrated ability to drive % increase in adoption, sales etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate groups of people.

The WEM Consultant is responsible for collaborating with change leads, workforce leadership and operational business partners by evaluating and executing the work and benefit related to our WEM solution tool set – Verint WFM, Desktop Analytics, Performance Management, and Intradiem. This role will be to partner with business participants and workforce teams to oversee the product execution and governance of the solution in our operational environment within service center operations.

This individual will partner with stakeholders to develop, implement, and drive business cases from conception to delivery while ensuring readiness of all other product teams and business participants in the overall ecosystem for each targeted improvement. This position may also collaborate with system administrators of other tools to develop and refine systemic rules for the software suite.

This role is a key member of the Resource Planning & Enablement team and will report directly to the Resource Planning Capabilities Manager. This role requires a strong understanding of business objectives, pain points, all with one goal in mind: Provide best-in-class governance strategy and support by collaborating with change management teams, reporting, and training teams in order to identify the most effective processes, tools, and communication strategy for targeted enhancements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead administration efforts launching Verint’s Desktop and Process Analytics, Workforce Engagement, Work Operations Manager, Performance Management solutions, and Intradiem solutions
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Workforce Management technology and establish strong partnership with the vendor. Support work efforts that will elevate Northwestern Mutual to a beta-tester role to secure advanced new released of use cases that drive meaningful operating expense reductions.
• Administer plans to deliver use cases as well as key metrics for active management and governance.
• Identify and enforce key administrative activities, including establishing peer review process, designing, testing and validation of new rules/use cases, and maintaining appropriate reference and change log documentation.
• Support creation and design of rules to accomplish new uses and execute on required testing
• Effectively partner with operations teams for change management, culture change as well as compliance to the delivered/implemented solution. Monitoring of identified key performance indicators to ensure project is delivering intended benefits and that defined process is being followed
• Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications:
• Either Verint Administrative, Intradiem Administrative, or Intradiem Administrative experience required. Verint Desktop Process Analytics knowledge strongly preferred
• Between 5-7 years of previous Workforce Management experience, preferably within each role
• Bachelor’s degree or 2-3+ years equivalent work experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proven track record for effectively driving change through strong partnerships and engagement with front-line staff, management, and customers
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals at various levels.
• Strong presenting and influencing skills. Ability to turn data into a compelling story with a call to action
• Ability to identify issues and opportunities and develop solutions with little oversight
• Ability to work with a high sense of urgency
• Ability to interpret and break down complex processes for communication to various matrix partners
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge required
