What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university (Accountancy degree preferred)

What Does an Employer Services Manager do?

The OOD Business Relations program was a 2020 national finalist for the Harvard Innovations in American Government Award. The Employer Services Manager will lead the team in building relationships with employers and workforce partners to promote hiring people with disabilities, including managing staff to develop and provide educational events to support employers’ efforts to increase workplace diversity, equity, & inclusion; Directs establishment of virtual & in-person hiring events and directs implementation of annual employment focused events, including job fairs, events that promote In-Demand Jobs Week, employer spotlights, employer recognition/awards & National Disability Employment Awareness Month; Ensures print and web-based resources and tools are current and accurate; Ensures staff maintain compliance with reporting and documentation; monitors budgets, accountability for performance measures.

What will you be doing?
Duties
The Training Officer acts for the Auditor of State and serves under the supervision of the Director of Professional Education and Training within the Training Department in assisting with the following duties
• Coordinating, scheduling & monitoring logistics for internal & external training events & conferences, including but not limited to virtual, hybrid and in-person capacity
• Operating computer & audiovisual equipment

The AOS is currently searching for an experienced individual to serve as a Training Officer in the downtown Columbus area within the Training Department.
What will you be doing?
Duties
The Training Officer acts for the Auditor of State and serves under the supervision of the Director of Professional Education and Training within the Training Department in assisting with the following duties
• Coordinating, scheduling & monitoring logistics for internal & external training events & conferences, including but not limited to virtual, hybrid and in-person capacity
• Operating computer & audiovisual equipment
• Operating registration & virtual platform
• Setting & monitoring event budgets and negotiating third-party vendor contracts
• Updating the Training section of the AOS website and the Training section of the internal site all AOS employees access
• Maintaining personal & department email accounts
• Answering questions regarding the Fiscal Integrity Act and managing the Fiscal Integrity Act portal
• Entering & monitoring continuing professional education (CPE) hours for audit employees
• Organizing and saving files on the hard drive
• Providing information for employees seeking and renewing professional certifications & memberships
• Assessing training and development needs and identifying target audience, content and overall training project needs;
• Developing performance measures and objectives;
• Designing written training material (reference manuals, e-learning storyboarding, evaluative feedback forms) utilizing standard visual format for training materials and interactive training to keep participants actively learning from both the instructor and one another;
• Coordinating and preparing training of organizational development and leadership topics and technical AOS business operations
• Conducting training presentations/orientations with the use of lecture, video conference presentation, audio/visual material, web-based products, demonstration of procedures and skills, written exercises and hands-on skills demonstrations.
