Position: Online Marketplace/E-commerce Sales Representative
Location: Remote, but Brooklyn NY preferred for hybrid remote.
Type: Full TimeRate: 45k-55k based on experience, plus a commission structure
Job Summary: As the Online Marketplace/E-commerce Sales Representative at JoyJolt, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and brand presence across various online marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and shopping feeds. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our digital footprint, cultivating key relationships with marketplace partners, and driving sales to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
● Marketplace Sales Management: Identify, approach, and onboard new online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms to expand JoyJolt's online presence. Build strong relationships with existing marketplace partners to maximize sales opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
● E-commerce Channel Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to optimize product listings, descriptions, and images across e-commerce platforms, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand representation.
● Feed Management and Data Optimization: Manage product data feeds for various shopping channels to ensure accurate and up-to-date information, optimizing product visibility and search performance.
● Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze marketplace and e-commerce sales data, monitor KPIs, and identify trends and opportunities for sales growth and improved performance.
● Competitor and Market Research: Conduct regular competitor analysis and stay informed about market trends and best practices in online marketplace and e-commerce sales strategies.
● Promotional Campaigns and Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with Marketing and Pricing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns and pricing strategies that drive traffic and conversion.
● Customer Relationship Management: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and feedback on marketplace platforms, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
● Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, communicating key insights and recommendations to the Sales and Marketing teams.
Requirements:
● Proven track record of success in sales, specifically in online marketplace/e-commerce channels, with a deep understanding of market trends and best practices.
● Familiarity with major online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.) and e-commerce platforms.
● Experience in managing data feeds and optimizing product listings for improved search performance.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics to drive actionable insights.
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
● Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
● Previous experience in the glassware or home products industry is a plus but not required.

As a key player on our team, you'll be at the forefront of managing our presence on Amazon and other online marketplaces, optimizing product listings, and implementing strategies to enhance sales performance.

What you’ll do:
• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
• Fine-tune product listings, ensuring they are compelling, SEO-friendly, and maximize discoverability.
• Implement tactics to enhance sales performance, including pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory management.
• Regularly review and analyze sales performance, customer reviews, and competitor activities on Amazon and global marketplaces.

• Plan and execute effective Amazon Advertising campaigns to increase product visibility and drive traffic.
• Interface with other departments, including product management, marketing, and finance, as needed to support ecommerce sales channels and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Work closely with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts.
• Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Drive Amazon agencies to execute sales strategies and meet KPIs.
• Keep abreast of changes in Amazon policies and algorithms, adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.

What you have:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with key eCommerce channels.
• Experience building and executing eCommerce fulfillment models and enhanced shipping capabilities.
• Proven experience managing Amazon marketplace operations, preferably for a product-focused company.
• In-depth understanding of Amazon's platform, policies, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
