About the Renewal Operations Analyst:

As a member of the Commercial Operations Team, this role plays a critical part in developing and driving renewal and outreach strategies. Operating within a fast-paced environment that prioritizes accountability, the successful candidate will bring a wealth of prior SaaS experience, extensive knowledge of the public sector, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, a genuine passion for our customer's success, and a drive to introduce innovative technology within the government sector.

Renewal Operations Analyst Responsibilities :

• Execute a comprehensive renewals playbook to streamline the renewal process and improve overall customer retention

• Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales teams to create targeted outreach and engagement campaigns, ensuring timely renewals

• Prepare pricing schedules and effectively negotiate pricing with customers, aiming for successful and mutually beneficial agreements

• Work closely with internal Legal and Finance teams to draft and execute renewal contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements

• Maintain and update accurate renewals forecasts, proactively identifying any potential risks or challenges, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop effective resolution strategies

•Engage in cross-functional collaboration with various teams to gather essential documentation and resources required for maintaining organizational performance metrics

Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales, Account Management, Deal Desk, or Customer Success, preferably within small to later-stage SaaS companies

• Demonstrated success in thriving within a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth technology environment

• Proficient in contract verification, maintaining data integrity of all quotes, and reviewing terms and conditions to ensure renewal subscriptions align with company guidelines and policies

• Ability to effectively manage account team deal desk requests and lead renewal/commercial negotiation discussions

• Possess a positive attitude, a high level of motivation, and a genuine passion for business development

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), with the ability to articulate technical subjects to non-technical end-users in large enterprises

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly preferred

About the Implementation Analyst (Procurement Expert):

The Implementation Analyst (Procurement Expert) will look to drive value to the OpenGov customer and deliver a complete, quick, and smooth implementation by utilizing their product knowledge, and expertise and making solution recommendations.

The Implementation Analyst (Procurement Expert) will be responsible for driving a successful customer implementation from start to finish, setting the underlying foundation of their OpenGov platform, while promoting maximum value for their investment in OpenGov.
Responsibilities:
• Drive and manage new customer implementations from start to finish. This includes providing guidance, assistance, and support to customers from the initial data requirements gathering, technical platform configuration, administrator training, and all other requirements defined through a customer's implementation.
• Be the primary technical point of contact for new customers deploying OpenGov, or those expanding to implement additional functionality. Interact directly with government procurement professionals daily, guide them through the process, and empower them to become our advocates and successful administrators of their OpenGov software platform.
• Understand customer pain points and partner with cross-functional teams to simplify, enhance and automate existing processes that will improve customer workflow.
• Become an expert in governmental procurement processes across multiple states.
• Work closely with the engagement and adoption team to facilitate and drive a consistent customer experience and ensure successful training for new customers.
• Leverage and continually develop best practices for each data environment and customer vertical to assist in future implementation efficiencies.
• Compliment key product discussions by gathering and communicating customer feedback and feature requests to ensure OpenGov is a "must-have solution."
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
• 2+ years of experience as a procurement professional in a governmental setting preferred. * 2+ years of experience in software implementation consulting or transferrable work with external clients preferred
• Knowledge and experience in analyzing and reporting large volumes of financial and operational data, in addition, to experience with government operational concepts and practices.
• Ability to provide clear and effective phone support, assistance, and recommendations to build positive relationships with customers.
• Strong skills in conceptualization of patterns, modeling, and design.
• Strong Excel skills, including using Functions/ Formulas to format data such as v-lookup, pivot tables, error-checking, and developing properly formatted reports.
• ETL tools, ETL report creation, macros, and visual basics are not required, but highly desirable.
• Track record of working in a fast-paced environment while balancing internal procedures and process improvements, all while collaborating with team members.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond strategically to customer needs. Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, and customer service skills.

•The ideal candidate has 6 months-3 years of experience working on a sales team, ideally within a technology environment.

•Successful Sales including phone experience in B2B, SaaS, tech recruitment, finance, budgeting, and/or accounting.

•Passionate about technology, selling technology and what it can do for society, and redefining a market segment.

•Self-motivated, creative, results-driven, solution-oriented; competitive and driven to succeed.

•Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid change.

•Crisp written communication and fluency of expression.

•Solid computer skills including Salesforce or comparable CRM.

•Excellent references (recent and relevant).
