About the role

In this role, you’ll cover daily news on the healthcare industry’s latest developments, including the rise and fall of startups, efforts by giant legacy companies to keep pace, business deals and new technologies. You’ll help set the agenda for the biggest healthcare stories of the day through original reporting and chasing tips.

How You'll Do It

As a member of the health tech team, you’ll help craft (and sometimes run) the newsletter and write everything from short articles on news of the day to deeply reported-out pieces that break news and give people a lens to understand how the industry is changing.

This role will work closely with deputy editor Lydia Ramsey Pflanzer, the Health Tech team and will coordinate with our existing biopharma reporting team.

Your Skills and Experience

The right candidate has five or more years of experience covering healthcare or technology and is based in the US. This reporter will play a big role in shaping the first year of our health tech coverage and newsletter.

BASE SALARY RANGE: The salary for this position starts at $85,000.
