Imagine a future where you optimize procurement to create a diverse and inclusive world that runs entirely on green energy
Join us in this role where you’ll support the Regional Manager and O&M Procurement team for US projects with daily procurement activities, working closely with our stakeholders. You’ll manage the proper handling of contracts and claims, holding responsibility for preparing... and conducting supplier negotiations.
Welcome to NA Procurement
You’ll be part of a growing and diverse US team of ten colleagues which prides itself on inclusivity where you, together with your colleagues, will oversee transitioning vendors from sourcing to contract management, as well as track and negotiate changes to contracts with key suppliers across the globe. As a team, we support each other and have a strong focus on personal and professional development. Moreover, we always strive to continuously improve through open collaboration and trust.
You’ll play an important role in:
• being responsible for sourcing safe and cost-efficient O&M service and offshore logistics solutions
• leading and delivering strategic sourcing processes from start to finish, i.e., market analysis, tender process, negotiations, implementation, and contract management, etc.
• ensuring contractual alignment between business and project objectives
• building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the realization and optimization of commercial value
• proactively handling commercial issues arising from contracts, incl. issues related to supplier performance and contract interpretation.
To succeed in the role, you:
• have three to five years of sourcing or purchasing experience
• ideally have experience from the offshore or onshore wind, or oil and gas industries, experience with tendering, negotiating, or managing contracts. Experience with negotiating contracts for wind turbines maintenance, offshore logistics services, and experience with BIMCO contracts are a plus
• demonstrate a well-developed ‘toolbox’ to effectively manage sourcing and tender processes, negotiations, stakeholder management, analyzing market trends, and tracking supplier performance
• have proven negotiation skills, enabling you to communicate professionally with key business partners, while maintaining contractual and business objectives
• have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks, with an ability to balance competing priorities in a large matrixed organization.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
