Your Role

As the Head of Operations for Support Services at Palo Alto Networks, the individual will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the support organization. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Regularly analyze team efficiency and performance metrics, identifying improvement areas. Prepare and distribute reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and indicators.
Feedback and Improvement: Establish a feedback loop with Support Delivery Managers and Engineers for insights into customer issues and bottlenecks. Utilize this feedback to iteratively improve meeting structures, communication channels, and overall operational processes.
Collaboration and Cross-Departmental Engagement : Foster collaboration between different departments, ensuring representation in relevant meetings and initiatives.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead an organization of 15 across all three theaters, assessing and adapting the structure to meet business requirements and scalability.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Build flexibility into operations to adapt to changing business conditions and priorities, while defining and tracking key metrics and KPIs in line with organizational goals.
Your Experience
• Strong background in Support Delivery or Professional Services, preferably in a tech or cybersecurity environment.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $174,000/yr to $270,000/yr. • Clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teams - Interview, mentor and coach new team members

Your Experience
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, similar technical discipline or equivalent practical experience, graduate degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or similar technical discipline is preferred or equivalent military experience
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, and familiarity with security protocols such as TLS and L4-L7 protocols is a plus
• Experience in developing and optimizing software for performance, scalability, and security
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and agile practices

Your Impact
This role will support 2 Finance VP’s in our CFO Organization
Responsibilities:
• Experience in complex calendar management - Anticipate potential conflicts (i.e., schedule issues, critical meetings, location issues) and raise to address/resolve in advance whenever possible
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation, meetings, and lodging
• Prepare and submit expense reports
• Provide project and presentation support as needed
• Organize and assist with events, including large and small employee events, offsite team meetings, and training
• Assist with management of the department budget, purchase order creation and invoice tracking
• Manage team distribution lists, org charts. Support new hire onboarding

Your Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) and 6-8 years Executive Administrative Assistant experience
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Slack applications is critical.

Your Impact
This role will support 2 Finance VP’s in our CFO Organization
Responsibilities:
• Experience in complex calendar management - Anticipate potential conflicts (i.e., schedule issues, critical meetings, location issues) and raise to address/resolve in advance whenever possible
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation, meetings, and lodging
• Prepare and submit expense reports
• Provide project and presentation support as needed
• Organize and assist with events, including large and small employee events, offsite team meetings, and training
• Assist with management of the department budget, purchase order creation and invoice tracking
• Manage team distribution lists, org charts. Support new hire onboarding

Your Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) and 6-8 years Executive Administrative Assistant experience
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Slack applications is critical.

Your Career
As a member of the Wildfire team, you will be responsible for prototyping, and rapid development of next-generation malware detection systems and tools. Success will require innovation and persistence in the face of unforeseen issues and outright failures. You will take ownership for implementing solutions to complex, multi-system problems; for creating tools and techniques which enable industry redefining research and development. This is a role for experienced professionals.
Your Impact
• Work with sandbox and hypervisor teams to develop state of the art malware sandboxing
• Work with threat researchers to analyze malware and security threats to determine gaps in coverage
• Architect, design with team and document complex systems - Writing scalable and testable software using modern cloud architectures
• Collaborate within the team and across organizations to influence and achieve the end goal
• Expand cloud offering to improve detection against new malware threats
Your Experience
• Minimum of 8+ years industry experience - The experience with cybersecurity including but not limited to malware analysis & detection, reverse engineering is a plus
• Proficient in C, Python and Linux development environment - Experience working with hypervisor development or low-level operating system/kernel development is a plus
• Experience working on sandbox technology and malware analysis - Experience with Windows internals development or Understanding of PC architecture and Intel ISA is a plus
• Ability to work with small teams to solve complex problems
• Can-do attitude on problem-solving, quality and ability to execute
• BS/MS in computer science/engineering, or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $144,200/yr to $233,200/yr.
