As a Portfolio Marketing Manager for our Higher Education segment, you are responsible for the full customer lifecycle and a successful buyer journey for your product portfolio, including creating the GTM strategy and crafting the messaging and positioning around your products. You'll work closely with the Executive, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop innovative marketing materials that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. In your role as a Portfolio Marketing Manager you will be the expert in buyers: why they buy, how they buy, and their buying criteria. This position will report directly to the Director of Portfolio Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
• GTM Strategy – create and communicate the annual and quarterly GTM strategy to achieve business targets
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market
• Own, track, and report on business targets for your products
• Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of our products, training
• Product launch – work with the product team to identify opportunities for new product or feature launches, plan the launch of new products and releases, manage the cross–functional implementation of the plan, and define and track success of launches
• Competitive enablement – develop content and tools to support the SDRs and RSM teams in effectively battling key competitors; deliver trainings to empower them
• Market intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, why they buy, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on the competition and how to beat them; deliver trainings to empower them
• Demand generation – develop strategy and GTM themes, curate buyer persona information and seasonality, and align product releases into the marketing programs that drive demand for our products
• Tradeshow and event support – propose session content, create session presentations, advise on collateral and booth design, and create strategic marketing materials to increase lead generation
• Demand generation – work closely with Programs Manager to develop editorial calendar
• Edit, proofread and improve content to maintain brand and voice consistency and product accuracy
• Advocacy – increase retention and referrals in existing customer base
• Identify happy customers, collect stories, create case studies and testimonials
• Review customer NPS feedback, conduct customer interviews, and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
• Analyze win/loss data reports and identify key themes; share with stakeholders

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of product or portfolio marketing experience
• High performing team player
• Great collaboration skills– excellent people and management skills to develop relationships with colleagues, cross–functional teams, and third parties
• Effective communicator - strong product and solution writing skills as well as presentation skills
• Enterprise/B2B experience highly desirable
• Potential of travel up to 25%
• Excellent PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Google Sheets skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drives operational efficiency initiatives, including working with Member Consulting on new implementation efforts, collaborating with Member Support to improve order matching, electronic case, and phone support workflows, and with Product Management to develop and roll out new products and services that will address member needs and provide cost savings to the company.
• Collaborates with data management and serves in project management and QA capacity for all Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) projects.
• Configure and test the application to meet client needs
• Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops short and long term mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical business milestones.
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates members' needs on an ongoing basis. Address direct member escalations, and works with Member Support to address high-priority and high-visibility cases on an ad hoc basis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts related to order metrics, support metrics, revenues, and costs. Develop and manage ad hoc reports depending on the needs of the business and members.
• Drive new bookings in the High School Equivalency Market meeting annual quota expectations.
• Manage all renewal and expansion opportunities of named accounts. To include: quoting, negotiating, and closing contracts, and ensuring member invoices are paid on time.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
• Seven to ten years of working experience in sales/account management and project/program management, preferably within the software industry
• Experience collaborating with cross-functionally teams
• High level of proficiency in report creation and data analysis and process documentation
• High level of interpersonal relationships and good communication skills, both in written and verbal
• Strong knowledge and understanding of a number of business-related software platforms
• Ability to travel as needed
• Ability to perform in a flexible, dynamic, and culturally diverse working environment
• Proven ability to exceed performance metrics within the required time period
