We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the most talented team in the Creator Economy and are looking for a Data Scientist focused on Business Intelligence to support our mission.
This role is based in *San Francisco or in New York** and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.*
About the Role
• You’ll collaborate with leaders across the company to design and implement strategic, operational, and experimentation metrics.
• You’ll conduct quantitative research to inform business strategy and opportunities.
• You’ll build the framework for business critical reporting alongside a team of data engineers and product scientists.
• You'll communicate your work to executive, product, and operational leadership, as well as the rest of the company.
• You’ll be a trusted partner for the product management, data science, and financial planning and analytics teams to measure progress towards key objectives.
About You
• You have spent 5+ years helping product or operations teams make great decisions with data, and ideally have experience with executive reporting.
• You have solid analytical thinking. You ask the right questions and strive to see beyond the numbers to understand what an analysis represents in terms of real-world applications.
• You are a technical polyglot: in addition to being a SQL expert and proficient in at least one data programming language, you can easily pick up new frameworks, tools, and bits of languages as needed.
• You are also a data polyglot: you know enough about data engineering, machine learning, statistics, and experimentation to efficiently collaborate with diverse data experts - but you don’t need to be an expert in all these things!
• You have a track record of building strong relationships with teammates in other functions like product, engineering, operations, finance, research, and/or design.
• You are an expert communicator with a love for clarity.
