Essential Functions
• Inform design decisions by utilizing professional background and technical expertise in architecture, landscape architecture, and/or site civil engineering.
• Oversee the complete the Rebuild development process and represent Rebuild’s program pillars during scope determination, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, bidding/procurement, and construction.
• Integrate Philadelphia Parks and Rec (PPR) and Free Library of Philadelphia (FLP) standards and community feedback in the Rebuild development process.
• Act as the primary point of contact for non-profit Project Users that have been selected to deliver Rebuild projects or actively manage a team of design/engineering consultants charged with completing the Rebuild development process.
• Interact on a frequent basis with Project Users/Design Teams to discuss and resolve issues related to project design and construction matters.
• Create project data and presentations for internal and external use (the community, City Council, etc.) as required.
• Manage the creation and refinement of project budgets, collaborating on ways to meet project needs within the allotted budget.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of monthly project schedules (critical path/milestones, lookaheads, etc.), developing strategies to stay on schedule.
• Implement strategies that support diverse business and workforce development efforts.
• Closely collaborate with community engagement efforts to ensure community input informs design.
• Coordinate and review third party QAQC reviews at key design milestones.
• Assess project documentation to ensure efficient bidding and participate in the review of bid proposals and vendor selection, informed by Rebuild program contract and workforce participation goals.
• Participate in bi- weekly on-site construction meetings.
• Evaluate unforeseen conditions requiring additional work and expenditure of contingency fund; determine best plan of action with input from design team; review contractor's change order pricing
• Review design and construction payment requisitions.
• Performs other related duties, as required, or assigned.

Work-Life

Work hours are generally 37.5 hours per week. Our team is currently hybrid with both virtual and in-office days, however the position can opt to come in the office each day if desired.

Qualifications
• Advanced Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering and 5 to 7 years of Project Management experience or the equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of architectural and engineering principles and practices, project and contract administration; laws and codes,
• Ability to review and inform plan and specification development, cost estimates, contract and budget preparation.
• Familiarity with rules and regulations for environmental impact as they relate to construction.
• Understand the need to travel to a local construction site.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and in project management tools.
• Familiarity with design tools, such as AutoCAD.
• Interest and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be capable of managing multiple projects in multiple stages of development simultaneously and confident in prioritizing tasks.
• Comfortable in meeting aggressive timelines and facilitating decisions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with different audiences.

Job Overview

Assist managers in obtaining customer satisfaction by performing clerical and administrative duties relating to guest and hotel operations and communications.

Responsibilities
• Answer phones and ensuring all inquiries are dealt with accurately, timely and in a professional manner within the same business day or by 10am the next business day.
• Type correspondence, reports and forms as well as prepare simple written correspondence.
• Generate and synthesize time entry punch detail, absent and overtime data to determine what additional compensation or documentation is needed (e.g. predictive pay, attendance violations, retro comp).
• Ensure associates receive the appropriate compensation. Reconcile all corresponding data for these processes.
• Understand process for all vacation, sick, holiday or bereavement pay on a weekly basis.
• Collaborate with managers on daily management and retrieval of missing documents.
• Create training materials and deliver information for new and/or enhanced processes and applications.
• Troubleshoot timekeeping discrepancies noted by staff.
• Develop a thorough understanding of Philadelphia Fair Work Week and other operational business regulations.
• Assist managers on projects, proposals and special events.
• Assist managers with copying, faxing, scanning and shipping needs
• Review departure calls for any possible customer care issues and remedy with the guest
• Receive all customer care issues and resolve or send to the appropriate manager. Ensure all issues are closed within three days
• Make all VIP and reservations and set up amenities and fill out comp forms and obtain signatures
• Review VIP guest log and ensure an appropriate arrival and stay experience with notes/amenities
• Review guest’s special request log and ensure execution of needs
• Process mail, invoices and date stamp all items. Ensure postage meter if full
• Enter any checks received for events, payments
• Email all arriving guests two days out with arrival email and respond
• Participate in weekly guest service meetings
• Process PO’s, order, enter in appropriate checkbook and maintain inventory of office supplies
• Process expense reports for EC
• Make and issue Gift Certificate and keep GC log up to date and make GC reservations
• Maintain timely and effective paper flow and communications within the office
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the executive office
• Assist with any administrative requests from EC members
• Professional and positive communication to both guests and fellow employees

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

High school diploma or vocational secretarial.

Experience

Previous secretarial experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills
• Ability to type 60 WPM, Microsoft Word applications: Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
• Alphabetizing, grammar and punctuation skills. Standard business letter formats. Strong editing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Summary:

This position is responsible for conducting a quality review of all registration workflows, internal process review and reporting quality assurance results. This position also conducts research as required to support audit exceptions and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to calls received through the queue line, email requests, fax requests and Athena tickets in a timely, professional and thorough manner. Provide feedback / guidance and follow up as necessary.
• Evaluate coverage accuracy.
• Evaluate Registration Data entry.
• Identify monthly top 10 registration errors and identify entities/departments where errors occur.
• Identify errors and Communicate with End Users to fix errors.
• Run QA reports.

Education or Equivalent Experience:
• H.S./GED required.
• BA/BS Degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience in Hospital Registration and Insurance required.
• 2+ years experience in Quality Assurance preferred.

Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We currently have an opening for a Physician Assistant to join our team.

This is a full time position working four 10 hour shifts a week in our Outpatient Clinic. There are no weekends or night shifts required.

Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive, evidenced based health care services to the pediatric population. The PA obtains comprehensive health history, performs physical examinations, formulates a plan of care and treatment, prescribes/performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures and participates in patient and family education.

Provide Patient Care• Evaluates follows up patients in clinic, demonstrates appropriate assessment skills and dictates note inappropriate format (SOAP, for example). Presents pertinent findings and plans to the supervision physicianfor review, when indicated.• Gathers information from the history and physical exam of new (screening) patients, pre-op patients orpatients being admitted to the hospital, formulates assessments, proposes plan of management, dictatesH&P within 24 hours and signs them in a timely manner.• Makes pre visit phone calls to selected patient applicants with complex young spine problems to answerparent questions about our specialty services. Obtains pertinent history, reviews pre-visit studies,summarizes and reviews with attending to facilitate appropriate initial clinic evaluation.• Evaluates and dictates progress notes on requested studies of long distance post op patients, and reviewswith supervision physician as indicated.• For discharged post op patients, promptly enters clinically sensitive information such as newprescriptions/refills for pain medication or acute clinical changes in the electronic medical records (SHCIS) todecrease risk for duplication or medical error.

Communication/Interpersonal Skills• Provides additional education and reassurance to parents of children with complex problems during clinicvisits, as needed.• Seeks ongoing feedback from supervising physicians to continually improve clinical skills.• Collaborates with the other health team members demonstrating the commitment to the philosophy offamily centered care and care coordination principles. Discusses and plans patient care with clinical carecoordinators/nurses.• Serves as a medical resource to coworkers seeking answers to clinical questions about which the physicianassistant may have some prior experience or fund of knowledge.• Monitors parent/patient scoliosis.

Job Related Personal Responsibility• Advances knowledge and skills in pediatric orthopedics, child development and related health fields byparticipating in continuing education, literature reviews, teaching conferences and in-service programs.• Achieves goals set forth in performance plan.
