• Provides leadership and support for programs and events including major campus events, late night programming, weekly programs and oversees a comprehensive student organization development program based in student development theory and relevant leadership models.
• Review all code of conduct proceedings and assign to appropriate hearing officers accordingly (i.e., Housing violations versus student code of conduct violations)
• Serves as a critical member of the Student Life and Leadership Team who serves as a visible, present, and approachable leader of the Residential Living Office, representing the needs of 700 students in 10 residence halls with plans to grow by 10% over the next few years.
• Provides oversight for day-to-day operations of residence life including serving as functional lead for all areas of housing. They are also responsible for facilitating community development that enhances academic success and personal growth, participates in the department’s crisis response network, and provides on call support
• Oversees, implements, and reviews risk management and harm reduction strategies with campus programming.
• Provide yearly review of conduct proceedings and disseminate annual Student Handbook and Code of Conduct
• Provides training to Judicial Hearing panel and conduct hearing officers on a semesterly basis and serves as the Chief Conduct Officer.
• Remain current in best practices for engaging students, retention, and higher education legal issues through continued development.
• Develop programming initiatives to incorporate federal guidelines in student education (ex. Title IX, Clery, VAWA)
• Develop collaborative relationships with campus administrative areas, faculty, and campus and community leaders to enhance planning and implementing strategic initiatives, resolving issues, and responding to crisis incidents.
• Coordinate Student Affairs response to major crisis and other unusual events impacting students with the campus community. Develop strategies for promoting student engagement and learning in collaboration with Academic Affairs.
• Develop strategies for creating a vibrant student experience for all students: residents, commuters, traditional, adult, full-time, and part-time for both Campuses.
• Prepare appropriate reports; analyze and evaluate data, outcomes, and metrics to be used in strategic decision making.
• Assist with Summer Camp/ Conference and event registration logistics and operations in concert with appropriate campus partners.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

On-site work is required. Selected incumbent must reside in campus housing or within a 45 minute drive to campus.

Qualifications
• Master's degree in student affairs, higher education administration, psychology, leadership studies or another appropriate discipline

Piedmont College

Founded in 1897, Piedmont College is an independent, comprehensive, coeducational liberal arts institution in northeast Georgia. Enrollment is approximately 2,500 students, representing 20 states and 10 countries.

Job purpose:

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Talent Acquisition, this role sources candidates, develops a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need, selects new employees and employees wishing to transfer to work in various departments and facilities of the Piedmont Healthcare System. Participates as part of the talent acquisition team to fill open positions. Creates pipelines of talent and identifies and pursues creative sources of qualified applicants to meet the needs of the business for new employees. This role also plays a significant role in on-boarding new employees, coaches and mentors Consultants and Hiring Coordinators, and is positioned as a subject matter expert by participating in strategic sessions with HRBP's and entity leaders.

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major courses in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, the social sciences, or closely related field.
In lieu of degree, six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years recruitment experience.
(If no degree, a total of nine (9) years of experience required).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Taleo and PeopleSoft preferred.
Experience as a corporate recruiter is desired.
HR Experience in a healthcare organization is preferred.

JOB PURPOSE...
The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for the coordination, direction and planning of all medical affairs within the hospital and assuring continuing operations and clinical functions remain in accordance with policies and standards set by the PHC Board, PHC Management and/or Medical Staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops, implements, and maintains all essential medical services and clinical operations and assures conformance to standards set by the Board and Executive Management Team and governmental regulations.
2. Remains working expert for Best Practices for medical services and clinical operations.
3. Represents hospital at medical society, agency, and other professional meetings.
4. Works with leadership to define performance standards and evaluation, oversight and review process.
5. Lead quality agenda for the hospital.
6. Aides with staffing and qualification reviews for physician needs in all medical service departments.
7. Aides in organizational short-term and long-term strategic planning and provides recommendations based on current operations and improvement opportunities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Must be an expert of clinical operations, controls and clinical practice regulation.
Individual must be a strong leader and mentor, with a high level of integrity and dependability and be focused on achieving results in an accurate and timely fashion.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with astute interpersonal skills.
Must have foundation to help lead complex performance and quality improvement initiatives. Be able to work in a matrix relationship to ensure local and system goals are met.

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
A medical degree from an accredited university.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Eight (8) years of management/physician leadership experience within the healthcare field is required.
Board certified in a specialty.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Candidate must be a licensed physician in the state of Georgia.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters prepared/MBA MHA, MPH, preferred.
Previous experience as Hospital CMO, or position enforcing policy, bi-laws is strongly preferred.
