About this position: Clinician 1

PPGNHAIK is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner/Clinician to provide direct service reproductive healthcare. This individual will serve as clinical leader and partner to the health center manager to ensure quality care, a smoothly functioning health care team, and a positive patient experience.

Tues-Sat 30 HRS/WEEK

Hourly: $41-$76 DOE

Compensation: PPGNHAIK's compensation philosophy is based on equity and transparency. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate's directly applicable experience and internal equity within the pay grade. The pay range is $41 to $76, paid (annually or hourly).

What you’ll be doing:
• Within state specified licensure and scope of practice and PPGNHAIK Medical Standards and Guidelines and privileging, provides confidential healthcare in a compassionate, professional and culturally competent manner to create a positive patient experience.
• Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats reproductive health concerns including preventive care, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy, and common gynecological conditions.
• In select health centers, evaluates, diagnoses and treats common acute self-limiting primary care conditions and hypertension, hypothyroidism and hyperlipidemia.
• Fosters affiliate stability by meeting clinician productivity benchmarks and supports a healthy revenue cycle with accurate and timely charge entries, including assignment of appropriate diagnosis and CPT codes.
• Serves as a delegator for support staff as required by state regulations (i.e. Medical Assistants).

You’ll need to have:
• License - Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife (ARNP, PA, or CNM)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications and has experience with EHR.
• At least 1 year of experience providing women’s health care preferred.

Essential Functions
• Implement and facilitate various Youth, Parent, Adult, and/or Peer Education Programs as applicable.
• Utilize facilitation and presentation best practices to plan and implement presentations, trainings, meetings and other events in both Spanish and English.
• Design and implement program evaluations as appropriate.
• Conduct community outreach to potential participants, patients and agencies and participate in community events to increase awareness of PPMI services and recruit for program participation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key community leaders and stakeholders.
• Monitor grant and program progress by tracking goals, activities, and data and generate quarterly reports. Provides additional reporting per affiliate and grant funding requirements.
• Align program activities and work priorities with affiliate, grant and department goals.
• In conjunction with other departments, advance and promote PPMI programs and services.
• Represent PPMI at health fairs and other special events to a variety of constituents including donors, community officials, partner agencies and others.
• Build professional networks by serving on agency and community coalitions as a representative of PPMI.
• In coordination with the Education Department and communications team, aid in developing, distributing and/or promoting marketing and social media materials.
• Maintain current and accurate records and documentation of all activities.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
• Qualifications Preferred:

o Bachelor’s Degree
• In any of the following Disciplines: Human Sexuality, Family Life Education, Gender Studies, Health and Human Services, Community Health Education, Sociology, or similar

Or
• At least three years’ experience in education and/or health/sexuality education, youth development or related field. One to two years public speaking or group facilitation experience required. Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.

Knowledge of:
• Intermediate to advanced concepts, practices and procedures used in human sexuality, reproductive health issues and family planning education.
• Intermediate to advanced concepts, practices and procedures used in the design and facilitation of content targeted toward adolescent and adult learners.
• Intermediate to advanced practices of designing and implementing culturally appropriate and relevant education programs and materials.

Skill in:
• Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience in grant-writing/reporting is a plus.
• Advanced and fluent Spanish language skills.

What To Expect

Under the supervision of the Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager performs a wide variety of functions. The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for the oversight of accounts payable, including reviewing, approving, and posting of invoices. The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible to follow financial and operational objectives which support the mission and strategies of Planned Parenthood of North Central States. Accounts Payable Manager is an advocate in implementing our mission “To affirm the right to reproductive and sexual health and freedom for all by providing excellent care, trusted education, and fierce advocacy” They may perform other related duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities

This position will impact us with the following contributions:
• Review accounts payable invoices for accuracy in coding and approvals.
• Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Review and management of balance sheet account reconciliations according to scheduled timeline of completion.
• Collaborate with Department leadership to identify and implement process improvements, define SOPs, and manage administration of internal forms.
• Ensure all general operating expenses are recorded appropriately.
• Prepare and review audit schedules prepared by team.
• Respond to manager, director, and executive inquiries, handle special requests, and research complex accounting issues.
• Handle monthly reporting as assigned.
• Day to day management and oversight of select employee(s) in the Accounting Department.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management to improve process efficiency and performance.
• All other special projects as assigned by Controller.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related area, or equivalent work experience
• Non-profit accounting experience
