KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support:
• Administrative support for Publishing department and coordination of publishing tasks that conjoin with Legal Information Services
• Support of publishing teams needs in production, Course Handbooks, Treatises and Journals administrative tasks
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and correspondence
• Prepare outgoing mail, packages and parcels for delivery via FedEx or messenger
• Support customer and author book orders and library retention efforts
Departmental Support:
• Maintain PLI Press email inbox, responding to or routing emails as required; prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries and redirect to customer service where needed
• Provide follow up for customer returns, including by contacting customers and processing replacement orders
• Coordinate with authors to obtain chapter agreements and process book orders
• Work with Associate Manager to prepare weekly report covering sales, renewals, and returns
• Coordinate and process filing of copyright certificates and maintain accurate records of copyrights
• Update and maintain an up-to-date printer-quality PDF file of each treatise and answer book published by PLI
• Provide editorial support by tracking manuscript submissions and inserting changes into book production schedule
• Maintain contact with entire department to ensure smooth workflow and ongoing follow up
• Prepare and distribute materials for departmental meetings
• Conduct research using paid and web market research services
• Maintain departmental attendance calendar
• Other duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• B.S. undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university is required
• At least one (1) year of administrative support experience
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of various software programs, including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Knowledge of Salesforce desired
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and a good listener with a polished, professional demeanor
• Ability to take direction and seek guidance from Executives, Directors and Managers from department
• Exercises excellent judgment in a variety of situations
• Must be focused, organized, and possess superior attention to detail
• Positive, willing attitude; collaborative work style
• Willingness to ask questions in order to learn or to confirm understanding
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, if and when they occur, and to multi-task among assignments
Compensation Range for this position
$50,000 - $53,000 per annum (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.)

Grow your administrative career as you support our Programs department to plan and execute our award winning continuing legal education programs. The Administrative Coordinator (CLE Programs) (“Coordinator”) will support the needs of the Senior Program Attorney (“PA”) in the preparation and presentation of continuing legal education (“CLE”) programs. The Coordinator must have excellent writing and editorial skills with impeccable attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborates with PA on an ongoing basis to ensure the continuing legal education programs are executed seamlessly.
• Maintains and updates portal database regularly, taking special care to ensure all program and faculty details are complete and correct, and appropriately tracks and updates information, communicating all changes to other departments, as needed.
• Communicates effectively and efficiently with faculty (speakers) and internal PLI departments via phone and email. Communication includes but is not limited to:
• Preparing and sending standardized letters and correspondence
• Requesting and tracking the receipt of all required forms and materials – e.g. releases, bios, Course Handbook materials, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
• Tracking/updating contact and marketing listing information
• Assisting with speakers’ requests
• Responds to all communications (internal and external) in a timely manner, keeping PA up to date on the status of ongoing projects.
• Works with PA to prepare and submit Course Handbooks for publication, including but not limited to obtaining reprint permission from copyright holders.
• Assists with pre-program preparation, including assembly of Chair Packets, program binders for the PA and Coordinator, AV schedules, processing registration lists and press lists.
• Acts as the “face” of the program on the day of the live program. Greets faculty and attendees at the registration desk and informs them of necessary information.
• Reviews and edits marketing pieces, including brochures, flyers, letters, emails, annual report, and catalog copy.
• Inputs PA's revisions to annual and newly created Program Budgets on a timely basis.
• Calculates speakers’ CLE (or other continuing professional education) credits.
• Arranges conference calls, special meetings, and faculty dinners.
• Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of administrative support experience.
• Superior knowledge and comfort with various software programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required, in addition to superior oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter, capable of multi-tasking and possess impeccable attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assesses need for computer or software training in the organization. Training needs will include support for new hires, for employees in new roles or with new assignments, and for organization-wide training on new software, programs, or company-wide information technology (IT) system changes or policies (examples include use of all programs within Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce, WMS, NetSuite, Concur, Adaptive, Hoteling reservation system, JDXpert, ADP for managers and staff, etc.)
• Develops training courses and materials to be used in workshop, group, and one-on-one training sessions, both onsite and virtual.
• Assesses participants learning performance; identifies need for additional, specialized, or adaptive instruction.
• Maintains records of completed training through use of LMS system.
• Maintains current knowledge of IT system modifications, development of new software programs or services, and other pertinent changes that may drive training needs.

SUMMARY
The Technology Training Manager will assess departmental and organizational IT computer and software training needs and develop and implement user-friendly training programs for all PLI employees, as required. This is a hybrid role which includes as-needed support duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assesses need for computer or software training in the organization. Training needs will include support for new hires, for employees in new roles or with new assignments, and for organization-wide training on new software, programs, or company-wide information technology (IT) system changes or policies (examples include use of all programs within Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce, WMS, NetSuite, Concur, Adaptive, Hoteling reservation system, JDXpert, ADP for managers and staff, etc.)
• Develops training courses and materials to be used in workshop, group, and one-on-one training sessions, both onsite and virtual.
• Assesses participants learning performance; identifies need for additional, specialized, or adaptive instruction.
• Maintains records of completed training through use of LMS system.
• Maintains current knowledge of IT system modifications, development of new software programs or services, and other pertinent changes that may drive training needs.
• Maintains hardware and software used for training purposes.
• Provides feedback to product and software development staff when modifications could improve user-friendliness of the programs, applications, and processes for which training is provided.
• Augments the team for helpdesk ticket support when needed. i.e. vacation coverage or peak periods.
• Answers How-To type tickets and uses gathered data to identify potential training or self-help content (i.e. additional quick starts).
• Creation of support content on both the user facing Helpdesk Intranet site (SharePoint) and Internal IT confluence Knowledge Base.
• Joins projects to identify training needs and create training content for new system implementations.
• Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Education, Instructional Design, or related field, required
• 3-5 years of experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Trainer, or similar role
• Strong experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 / MS Office.
• Competent understanding of range of business software programs including NetSuite, ADP or other HRIS system.
• Experience in Jira Service Management (Helpdesk ticketing) and Confluence preferable.
• Hybrid Office / Remote schedule that aligns with Helpdesk on-site staffing schedule and New Hire Day-1 onboarding at desks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms clearly and patiently to non-technical end users; comfortable leading an educational program in a group setting

SECI’s in-person Workshops are typically a one or two-day event and Associate Director will travel to the Workshop locations as needed. Associate Director is expected to teach Workshops throughout the year, including Workshops that are brought in-house to a client’s office and will travel to such client location as requested. Associate Director will also develop content for One-Hour Briefings. Associate Director will:
• Develop, lead and teach Workshops and Briefings in an interactive style, designed to make the learning experience participant focused.
• Use a variety of teaching and discussion techniques to actively engage participants in the learning process and help them accomplish their learning objectives.
• Research the companies of registered participants in advance of the Workshop or Briefing to identify relevant topics and to provide targeted examples designed to encourage participant discussion and questions.
• Develop Workshop and Briefing materials, such as PowerPoint Presentation and program course handbooks.
Conferences:
Associate Director may be asked to co-chair and plan SECI’s Forums as schedule and time permits. Conferences are held in New York and San Francisco and/or such other locations as may be determined by SECI, throughout the year. Associate Director may be asked to:
• Identify opportunities for new conferences as appropriate.
• Develop conference agendas by identifying hot topics and current issues at the SEC, FASB & PCAOB and by reviewing past attendee feedback for programming suggestions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• CPA with a minimum of 10 years demonstrated expertise, technical knowledge and understanding of SEC reporting and GAAP accounting.
• Up-to-date and current with recent SEC, FASB and PCAOB developments and regulations and has experience from public company accounting, auditing, SEC or industry.
• Excellent communication skills needed to translate technical and complex information to participants at all levels of experience, as well as the ability to discuss subjective and gray areas using practical examples.

Associate Director is a CPA with a minimum of 10 years demonstrated expertise, technical knowledge and understanding of SEC reporting and GAAP accounting. Associate Director has appropriate communication skills needed to translate technical and complex information to participants at all levels of experience, as well as the ability to discuss subjective and gray areas using practical examples.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Workshops & One-Hour Briefings:
Associate Director will lead SECI Workshops covering a range of SEC reporting and technical accounting topics. Workshops are held at the PLI Conference Centers in New York and San Francisco as well as virtually. SECI’s in-person Workshops are typically a one or two-day event and Associate Director will travel to the Workshop locations as needed. Associate Director is expected to teach Workshops throughout the year, including Workshops that are brought in-house to a client’s office and will travel to such client location as requested. Associate Director will also develop content for One-Hour Briefings. Associate Director will:
• Develop, lead and teach Workshops and Briefings in an interactive style, designed to make the learning experience participant focused.
• Use a variety of teaching and discussion techniques to actively engage participants in the learning process and help them accomplish their learning objectives.
• Research the companies of registered participants in advance of the Workshop or Briefing to identify relevant topics and to provide targeted examples designed to encourage participant discussion and questions.
• Develop Workshop and Briefing materials, such as PowerPoint Presentation and program course handbooks.
Conferences:
Associate Director may be asked to co-chair and plan SECI’s Forums as schedule and time permits. Conferences are held in New York and San Francisco and/or such other locations as may be determined by SECI, throughout the year. Associate Director may be asked to:
• Identify opportunities for new conferences as appropriate.
• Develop conference agendas by identifying hot topics and current issues at the SEC, FASB & PCAOB and by reviewing past attendee feedback for programming suggestions.
• Develop conference materials and PowerPoint Presentations.
• Travel to the conference location.
• Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• CPA with a minimum of 10 years demonstrated expertise, technical knowledge and understanding of SEC reporting and GAAP accounting.
• Up-to-date and current with recent SEC, FASB and PCAOB developments and regulations and has experience from public company accounting, auditing, SEC or industry.
• Excellent communication skills needed to translate technical and complex information to participants at all levels of experience, as well as the ability to discuss subjective and gray areas using practical examples.
• Superior knowledge and comfort with various software programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required, in addition to superior oral and written communication skills.
• Can work independently as well as with a team.
• Must be a self-starter, capable of multi-tasking and possess impeccable attention to detail.
• Flexible to travel.
• Must be responsive and timely to all email communications.

Compensation Range for this position
$125,000 - $150,000 per annum (based on part-time schedule, 3 days per week)
