The Port of Seattle is seeking a dynamic Executive Chief of Staff who will provide strategic support and advice to the Executive Director in carrying out the leadership functions of the Port. The Executive Chief of Staff is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and will provide leadership and management to the Deputy Chief of Staff.

The person in this role will regularly interface with Port Commissioners on certain complex, political, strategic, and policy matters. They will also assist as needed on special projects or initiatives, including developing and implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the Port.
• Executive Leadership Support – You will work with the Executive Director to identify, monitor, and track key issues related to the Port, ensuring they have the information necessary to make decisions, prepare for new challenges, and make progress on priority initiatives. Serves as a primary advisor to the Executive Director on strategic decisions and initiatives, including confidential and sensitive matters. Will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
• Schedule and Communications Coordination – You will assist in directing and managing the Executive Director’s schedule, including vetting meeting and event/speaking requests, as well as coordinating key internal meetings by developing agendas and facilitating discussions. Oversees internal and external communications of the Executive Director, including identifying communication opportunities and writing or editing talking points, speeches, letters, and other written communications.

As a Cruise Transportation Coordinator - Aviation Operations, you will ensure safe and efficient operations by directing bus movement, controlling access, guiding passenger traffic, and providing customer service at our cruise pick up and drop off locations.
• You will provide directions to motor coach operators from staging lot to ground transportation locations at the airport and assist drivers with filling out trip receipts.
