In this Principal Software Engineer role you will report to the Director of Software Development. This is a hands-on position, defining and implementing Software-as-a-Service solutions following best practices using Agile-based methodologies. Responsibilities
• Design and maintain single-page web applications with nodejs API tier and legacy back end to deliver multi-tenant SaaS and PaaS solutions to our customers and their employees
• Understanding the current and future needs of the organization and its stakeholders and developing software solutions to meet those needs.
• Evaluating new and existing technologies and creating proof of concepts that demonstrate their potential to support the organization's goals.
• Developing high-level application design concepts and software architecture and communicating these concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborating with software developers and other technical team members to ensure that our applications
• Are fast, responsive and deliver high quality experience on mobile devices
• Allow dynamic branding and styling without redeployment
• Meet modern accessibility standards
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with Operations groups to ensure safe and efficient CI/CD pipelines and product release milestones

Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience with Typescript, Javascript
• Expert level experience developing single page web applications with Angular 2+
• Expert level of experience developing services, API’s and micro services with NodeJS and Express
• Comfortable with local development of containerized applications with docker

This is a senior technical position reporting to our EVP of Product Delivery, expected to collaborate with product development, product / program management, quality assurance, security and stakeholder functions across PrismHR that have touchpoints to our product delivery engine.
Responsibilities
• Functional responsibility for PrismHR’s core payroll, benefits and HR application hosted production environments, to a scale of 1000+ virtualized servers and containers, across multiple 3rd party cloud providers and data centers, and consisting of widely varied modern, mainstream, legacy and niche technologies.
• Strategic and tactical guidance, with strong project management rigor and an agile mindset. An operational and execution based bias is key, as is an emphasis on customer service for both external and internal constituents.
• Partner with software architecture and development to create and drive cloud technology strategy, with an emphasis on delivering transformational change within an agile model to drive IT Infrastructure and Cloud Operations objectives
• Attract, motivate and develop best-in-class talent. Mentor and train constantly, and eliminate single points of failure. Develop the next generation of team management.

Qualifications

• Create efficient and logical solution designs for clients.
