Your Team

As a Solutions Implementation Consultant, you will be a key stakeholder in the project team. You will work with:
• A PTC Project/Program manager and his/her client counterpart to establish timeframes, schedules, deliverables, and the cadence of the project.
• PTC or partner Technical Architects to provide and validate solution design and establish key technology directions.
• PTC or partner Consultants and Developers to configure or customize the OOTB software in a fashion that most completely satisfies the client's requirements.
• Client business representatives to deeply understand the required solution functionality necessary to fully satisfy their business requirements.
• Client IT/IS representatives to ensure that the proposed solution follows their established environment, configuration, deployment, and hosting standards.

Your Day-To-Day:
• Support consulting and implementation projects for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Support the definition of client specific solution architectures for ALM; with focus on Application Architecture or Technical Architecture as required
• Analyze requirements, design solutions, and successfully implement solutions with the help of cross-functional teams
• Ensure quality through appropriate methods and software engineering processes

Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience
• Solid understanding of ALM or PLM methodologies, processes, and tools
• 1 to 2 years of experience in business processes and collaborating with customers or IT consulting e.g., as a Business Analyst, Software Developer, or Implementation Consultant
• Availability for potential overnight travel, roughly 15% - 20% time
• Experience in internal and/or external customer engagement
• Experience in designing, configuring, and customizing Codebeamer, Windchill RV&S (Integrity), IBM DOORS, or other ALM/PLM tools
• ALM/PLM industry knowledge, e.g., from the automotive industry, automotive supplier industry, aerospace, medical technology, electronics & high-tech, mechanical and plant engineering, etc.
• Familiar with programming languages such as Java, Javascript, HTML5, XML and frameworks such as Spring

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between $55,000 - $80,000 USD. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location and may also include the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus.

In addition, the EA has responsibility for management of the Head of Regulatory Affairs’ calendar and assists RLT members with other administrative tasks, including preparing Power Point slides, writing meeting minutes, travel arrangements, expense reports and other administrative tasks as assigned.

The role also includes, but may not be limited to, proactively and independently identifying, coordinating and monitoring the administrative aspects of the GRA; routine interaction with other internal key stakeholders; identifying and implementing/supporting administrative systems, processes and procedures; and completing varied routine, ad-hoc and project-driven administrative tasks as assigned.

The EA serves as an information resource on organizational and/or departmental policies and procedures, keeps abreast of changes, and assists management in implementing new/revised procedures.

Job Description
• Provides full administrative support to the Head of Global Regulatory Affairs and the RLT. This includes, but may not be limited to, the independent scheduling of complex, high impact/visibility internal and external meeting requests across multiple time zones, languages and platforms (e.g. face-to-face, teleconferences, videoconferences or other virtual meetings) as may be required. He/She coordinates meetings by the Head of Global Regulatory Affairs, proactively identifies, and schedules, other meetings as necessary. Routinely and proactively manages scheduling conflicts. Meeting planning includes, but may not be limited to:
• Securing internal/external meeting space, ensuring meeting space is properly set up and maintained (e.g. physical space, technology requirements are present and functioning properly), arranging for catering, etc.
• Preparation of meeting materials (including the independent development of PowerPoint slides) and distribution to meeting participants.
• Coordinating meeting logistics and global/domestic travel requirements.
• Processing expense reports.
• May coordinate and liaise with vendors/agencies for meeting planning. This includes, but may not be limited to, scheduling/coordinating agency capability presentations.
• Leverages his/her business understanding and acumen to ensure the Head of Global Regulatory Affairs has the necessary meetings, information, and materials required to support the work performed at an executive level.
• Owns and administers the processing of contracts and finances for the RLT; Duties will include tracking of payments and ensures appropriate reporting with finance.
• Independently captures meeting minutes, creates action items, and distributes as appropriate. Follows up on open issues and action items with team members, internal stakeholders and/or external, third- parties as necessary.
• Responsible for archiving documents and maintaining member access to a Development Teams site.
• Manages the scheduling of candidate interviews, travel arrangements, debrief sessions in support of the team.
• Owns and coordinates annual calendar of events and logistics to include townhall meetings and other corporate events.
• Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by the Head of GRA and the RLT.

Qualifications
• A Diploma or Certificate in a related discipline and a minimum of 8 years of related professional experience OR equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous experience supporting an executive of the company, ideally within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other, related environment.
• Demonstrated ability to apply business acumen and critical thinking skills to proactively identify, resolve or prevent issues.
• Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and suggestions for administration-related improvements within a function.
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to embrace change and new technology.
• Previous experience supporting multiple team members with complex schedules and programs.
• Experience supporting a large department/team in a dynamic, multicultural, international and fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately, efficiently and effectively manage multiple calendars, global travel itineraries and special projects.
• Demonstrated experience planning large meetings including direct experience working with vendors, hotel/conference centers, caterers and coordinating travel for global attendees.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members.
