• At least 7 years of experience in Higher Education is required.

• Experience teaching adult learners in fully online programs and understanding of online andragogy.

The Managing Director, Global Engineering Programs and Partnerships will assist the Assistant Dean of Global Engineering Programs and Partnerships (GEPP) in managing the operation and expanding the impact of the GEPP Office and the Shah Family Global Innovation Lab (Shah Lab). GEPP is responsible in supporting College of Engineering’s (CoE) global engagement missions by developing, supporting and assessing mobility programs to provide experiential learning opportunities for Engineering students to achieve global and intercultural competency learning outcomes; developing, managing, and assessing Purdue Academy for Global Engineering (PAGE) program and Global Fellows programs to help recruit divers talents for COE’s education and research enterprises; supporting CoE units in cultivating and developing mutually beneficial partnerships with international higher education institutions, industries, government and non-government organizations; and enhancing international... development impact and scale of CoE faculty and student innovations through Shah Family Global Innovation Lab (Shah Lab).
This position will supervise and support professional and program support staff in the GEPP office to establish, implement, assess, and improve operational and program plans to achieve and expand measurable results and outcomes in supporting the CoE global engagement missions. This position is expected work with the Assistant Dean to engage students, faculty and staff to promote international engagement and learning. This position will also be expected to develop effective working relationships with units and offices within Purdue University as well as with domestic and international institutions, partners, and organizations. The Managing Director will represent GEPP in the absence of the Assistant Dean of GEPP.
