What You’ll Be Doing...

The Category Merchant is responsible for all aspects of assigned product lines. This includes developing and executing strategic business plans as well as managing key functions to ensure budgeted sales and product margin goals are met. This includes assortment planning, merchandise and vendor selection, negotiation, financial planning, inventory impact implications, promotional plans, merchandise presentation, vendor relations, logistics cost management and administration for assigned lines. With guidance from the DMM develops and executes strategies for driving sales, margin, and competitive differentiation.

This position is responsible for leading direct and cross functional teams to create a best-in-class online shopping experience through the eyes of the customer. They will use data and customer insights to optimize the online shopping experience and revenue through search and all available selling tools. This is inclusive of recommending enhancements to the Senior Category Merchant or DMM.

What You Bring To The Table
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• PC literate with the ability to develop and manipulate spreadsheets with Excel.
• Ability to drive sales and margin results.
• General knowledge of industry trends, assortment planning, customer buying patterns, inventory management, logistics and marketing techniques.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and re-prioritize tasks based on fluctuating deadlines while continually meeting deadlines and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Organizational skills and detail orientated.
• Ability to analyze data, understand key indicators and make decisions using that data.
• Online merchandising experience.

The Business Development Executive Team builds strong partnerships with new & existing Quill customers by understanding what they value most and how Quill can provide a meaningful growth-based solution leveraging education contracts and custom-built programs.

This person will lead the project management of key marketing campaigns, ensuring efficiency and... timeliness, and help oversee and optimize the marketing department processes, ensuring operational excellence. This person will play a critical role in providing clarity and momentum to drive key marketing initiatives to fruition in a timely and cohesive manner.

What you’ll be doing:
• Leads cross-functional teams and external partners to drive multiple concurrent projects and to meet our strategic and tactical marketing objectives via web-based project management software.
• Oversee all aspects of projects including scope, risk, schedule, budget, quality, and communication to stakeholders’ fullest satisfaction and in line with Marketing strategy.

What you’ll be doing...

· Build a comprehensive, results-oriented email and SMS strategy for B2B retailer, including segmentation, automation, testing, and personalization aligned with the company’s overall branding, marketing, and e-commerce goals.

· End-to-end execution of campaigns including campaign setup, design, copy, production, coding, QA and scheduling for all email and SMS marketing communication to our customers to strengthen brand engagement, grow customer loyalty and LTV, create sustained purchase demand, and drive profitable e-commerce revenue

· Continuously test new ideas, run A/B tests on everything from subject lines to call to actions, and make intelligent decisions against the results.

· Maintain current and create new email lists and segments based on key buying behaviors.
